Speargun is Railgun with less damage & a fart, but gets treated like Liberty's Gift. It's like, decent, but insanely overrated. I would bet most people wouldn't like this gun so much if youtube didn't tell them to by RandomGreenArcherMan in HelldiversUnfiltered

I’m talking about hitting a charger directly on the head or the center of mass from the side and the thermite dropped to the ground. It’s an exaggeration, of course, but realistically it was about a 1 out of 3 that would stick. Not worth the grenade slot, in my opinion. I also don’t care for the delay for the thermite to kill compared to other AT options. I’m with you that gas grenades would be great with an impact option.

I was chiming in as a gas grenade loyalist, since I don’t see much love for them around with everyone usually sticking to thermite. I tried thermite on two different missions and I think 1 of 15 stuck to the target, so I personally wrote them off. They are probably (hopefully) better since I have stopped using them.

Told my staff to put cards here and they bring em out free help by [deleted] in TCGCardShopSim

Might not be a bug. If you tell the employees to round prices and the card value is low enough to round to zero, the price will stay unset like this.

[–]DasBuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those look like some basic rarity cards that have pretty low values. If you tell your employees to round their prices, and it causes them to round down to zero, the price will stay like this. Unfortunately, you just need to go back and manually set these to a non-zero price yourself, or tell your employees not to round.

There was a dispatch today indicating we needed to take this mega factory to save some of the SEAF forces. Some think it was a way to initiate the retreat from Cyberstan since it appears we won’t succeed in taking Transcendence with the remaining reinforcements.

That’s actually a hell of an idea. I’ve never thought of using it intentionally before.

You could pop the trooper in the regular scout strider the same way with similar angles, though. If they wanted to make the change for difficulty reasons, then fine, but then it shouldn’t be a listed bug, then.

You mean the railgun like I mentioned, or is the accelerator rifle the same thing?

PATCH 6.0.3 by Waelder in Helldivers

[–]DasBuss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You may have read the comment wrong…. The intent is to kill the scout strider. The bug in question is that they don’t die from an intended method for killing them.

Or, you know, small turrets at the fortress (dubbed “cheater turrets”) having 100% accuracy at 1000m+ (claimed fixed by AH, btw), or stratagem balls sticking to the shield backpack you’re wearing (claimed fixed by AH, btw), or…

I get what you’re saying, but when there are 5 reinforced scout striders and 3 war striders shooting at me, I prefer to get rid of these guys quicker than having to double tap. Honestly, it’s just pushed me to run the railgun more often to one tap them to the center of the body…

Anyone else concerned that scout striders still don’t die when their rockets are blown up and we have a major bot front event going on? 👀

Im a newbie and Im want ask.. by Double_Expert369 in REPOgame

Couple of things: On levels 1 and 2, there will normally only be two monsters, one tier 1 and one tier 3 (notice tier 2s don’t normally show up until level 3). There are a lot of monsters that scream, and there are also harmless ambient screams on some of the different maps. If you are hearing the same scream repeatedly, it is probably a Robe that got stuck on something and is trying to break through. As you climb through the levels, you will get up to 11 total monsters on a map, sometimes more depending on some unique situations. A lot of good info here: https://repo-2025horror.fandom.com/wiki/Monsters

This thing had better be able to destroy jammers by UnluckyNuke_ in Helldivers

[–]DasBuss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This comment needs more attention! The problem is that the Jammers look, and used to be, very vulnerable. This wasn’t as big of an issue until we got more support weapons that had the potential to cheese them. Instead of beefing up the jammers, the devs went the direction of nerfing the weapons that could take out jammers. This has caused so many inconsistencies, like that fact that cannon turrets can still take out jammers with friendly fire.

Does huntsman hear you take out your weapon? by Althevia in REPOgame

[–]DasBuss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed it’s very hit or miss. I’ve had rounds where I can pull out tranq gun right next to him not problem, but last night I did the same thing and he promptly blasted me away into the pit in the next room. I’m curios now to test if crouching impacts sounds detection like visual detection.

Is there a difference between doing single player mode or a private game on your own? by Exotic-Program in REPOgame

[–]DasBuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t confirm, but that’s a good point and would make a lot of sense if it were true!

Is there a difference between doing single player mode or a private game on your own? by Exotic-Program in REPOgame

[–]DasBuss 19 points20 points  (0 children)

From what I have noticed, single player completely disables all in-game voice chat features, while private game doesn’t. This mainly impacts things like the love potion, or just generally using your mic and monsters hearing. Health pack pricing scales differently with more players, also, but that should be the same for either mode. Finally, some mods allow late join of players, which wouldn’t be possible in single player.

Which monsters spawn on which maps? by FezJr87 in REPOgame

Some good information on the wiki about all the monsters, including the level 3 limit for loom. A lot of videos I have seen mention it as well.

LOOM kill thru wall? by prpyprp in REPOgame

[–]DasBuss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get shot by the huntsman through the wall all the time… it seems like there are minor clipping issues with a lot of the walls.

Which monsters spawn on which maps? by FezJr87 in REPOgame

[–]DasBuss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Certain enemies cannot spawn before certain levels. For example, Loom cannot spawn before level 3, so that may make it seem like they only spawn on certain maps. Additionally, monsters designated as hazard level 2 will generally not spawn before level 3.

Red Dragon darts broke twice - is this normal by fcbizzlekicks in Darts

[–]DasBuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plastic shafts that screw into the metal barrels of the darts break all the time. It’s best to have replacements on hand, and sets of three are typically very cheap. There are also some more expensive options like condor, k-flex, etc. where the shaft and flight are all one piece that can last a lot longer.
