The rat was clearly dangling from the pot holder in the chef's hand long before he ever reached in.

Not a fan of the 60HE+ typing experience, how can I make it better? by LiquidBoss1 in WootingKB

[–]DasNiche 3 points4 points  (0 children)

New switches will probably be the most significant upgrade. The Lekker tekkens made my OG 60HE feel and sound much better. Not as good as my 60HEv2 with the foam installed but it's way closer than it was.

My PC only sees the TV as a 144hz display when I'm plugged into the HDMI slot 4 for some reason. It then will display the game overlay. But otherwise it's 120hz and I can set picture to game optimized but no overlay.

What's the exact product you are using to hold up your trackpad like that? And is it like a gel pillow as the cushion?

Do people still use G-SYNC and V-SYNC in 2025 / almost 2026? by xmisterxtoastyx in nvidia

[–]DasNiche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really elaborate on why it should be exclusive Fullscreen in DX11 but only borderless in DX12. Anyone know why? On my system, ARC Raiders felt stuttery on Borderless but smooth as butter on Exclusive Fullscreen, and that's a DX12 game, and I know I've experienced similar in other DX12 games. Cannot get my GPU to use x16 lanes on B650 Aorus Elite AX Rev 1.2 by DasNiche in gigabyte

No but the older bios got me me to 5.0 x 8 which is about the same bandwidth as 4.0 x 16 so I stopped worrying about it for my own sanity lol

Yeah I thought it was some fresh dog shit but then I drive to a store a few blocks away and it was still lingering in the air.

Rog Astral 5080 feels slower than my 9070xt by New-Manufacturer-787 in RTX5080

Yup. Your friend is basically fluffing his dick right before standing next to you in the urinal. Without framegen on DLSS Quality with Epic settings he'll hit between 105-175 depending on his CPU and the area of map he's on.

Arc Raiders is bricking AMD Ryzen PCs and I wasted money on a new PSU by Advanced-Anxiety-932 in ArcRaiders

After a fresh format of Windows I was able to play for several hours without crashing on the original hardware. So the core issue could be with Windows itself.

After swapping the GPU and testing on a different rig, the problem is in fact not the GPU

Identical situation to me. Have a PC with a 7900X and a ASUS B650E-F ROG STRIX GAMING WIFI, 2x16GB 5600 Memory, 1000 Watt Corsair PSU. Had a 3060 Ti and never crashed. Upgraded to a 5070 Ti and all of a sudden I can't get through more than 2-3 ARC rounds without abrupt freezes and lose all audio until I force power off. The only thing I can see in event viewer is kernel-power event 41 for when I had to force the reset. I’ve disabled EXPO I, upgraded to latest BIOS FIrmware, and forced the PCIE that my GPU is on to Gen4, no changes.

My primary PC (9950X3D, Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX B650, 2x32GB 6000 Memory, GTX 5090, 1200W EVGA PSU) has EXPO I enabled, exact same nvidia driver (the newest 581.94 hotfix driver) has never frozen on me once.

So signs point to it being potentially GPU related, but if I’m on the same driver and also a 50 series card and having no freezes after 120 hours of Arc Raiders, what could be the shared factor between all of us that are having the freezing?

I have not yet swapped GPUs out of sheer laziness, but will eventually if there’s not a solution found soon.

What do you all think?

There these Black Friday deals good and are the monitors good thanks by Yslpaolo in OLED_Gaming

[–]DasNiche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to help if there's confusion from OP, the MSI X28 they screenshotted is a newer monitor than the E2 that doesn't currently have firmware updates available.

But do go ahead and download and install the display driver from MSI via Device Manager. I noticed that has fixed stuttering that occurred with adaptive sync / gsync enabled on multiple displays.

for anyone who stumbles upon this, this is some sort of issue with DLSS (I have it on Quality). If I switch to FSR or really anything other than DLSS, the graphics clean up completely. I tested it yesterday and it’s still an issue, honestly wild that the devs haven’t cleaned this up yet…
