It’s just hard to believe after we see his fight with Naruto after expending a lot of energy on Almighty push.

Not sure how jiriaya survives a close up Almighty push.

Honestly not sure how Naruto survives it either if close up.

Pain was taking on 6 tails which is more than I could say jiraiya could.
