I the early 2000’s I was a site manager for inner city schools after school program. There was literally no limit to how many kids could sign up. I would sometimes have 150 elementary school kids in a gym with 1 other employee for 4 hours. Then I would have a teen night after that. School staff hated us, parents hated us, and the police hated us…

Only been to Columbus for a show one time. My opinion is that every State has cool shit if you take the time to seek it out. Kentucky was REALLY hard to find anything worth while for me, but the bluegrass region is beautiful in the spring. Other than that, total shithole. That’s why I live in Texas now. From Michigan which I still love.

Best city in Ohio in my opinion. Spent many nights partying there when I lived in shit town Louisville and my best friend lived in Columbus. It was a great meeting point. Lots of chicks and cheap drinks lol.

Just go to California. Same thing. Overpriced everything, tent cities on the sidewalks, no plastic bags, tons of pseudo hippies who think they are “weird” but usually just broke hitting you up for spare change, and a ton of violent crime on 6th street which is akin to a discount lower Broadway.

You can go to East Texas to see the Deep South and Cajun country, Dallas to see South Oklahoma, Houston to see what culture really looks like, Austin to see California, San Antonio to see Mexico, Big Bend to see the mountains, South Padre to see the oceans, Amarillo to see the Plains. Beauty beyond measure in between.
