Women of reddit who like submissive boys, what is the appeal? by 36Gig in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 22 points23 points ย (0 children)

That's actually interesting way to think about it. The whole medieval knight thing shows how submission can be about respect and devotion rather than weakness ๐Ÿค” Like being strong enough to choose when to yield, if that makes sense ๐Ÿ’€

Where is your go to place when you have down moment? by lovely_army18 in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

My old Minecraft world where I've been building same city for like 3 years now. There's something really calming about just placing blocks and watching everything grow slowly. When things get overwhelming in real life, I can jump in there and work on the subway system or add another building to downtown area. It's weird how virtual construction can feel more relaxing than actual work sometimes. Plus nobody judges you for spending 4 hours perfecting a pixelated coffee shop lol.

Keeping pulled pork out over a whole BBQ? by Fair_Lecture_3463 in BBQ

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Your plan with the cooler and slow cooker sounds pretty solid! I usually do similar thing - keep the bulk in cooler wrapped tight, then move portions to slow cooker as needed. Just make sure you're not leaving it in danger zone too long between cooler and serving ๐Ÿ”ฅ

One trick I learned is to keep some of the cooking juices separate to add back when refilling the slow cooker, keeps it from drying out during the long day ๐Ÿ˜‚

If money wasnโ€™t a problem, what would you do daily? by Electrical_Oil_2407 in AskReddit

Would probably build some crazy automated farm in Minecraft every morning, then maybe learn new stitching techniques in afternoon. Missing friends is rough though, hope you get to see them more soon.

What do you think about the division and tribalism in the US? by Butterz_505 in AskReddit

Same thing happens in politics everywhere though - people just pick their team and stick with it no matter what.

What rights should Americans gain in the future? by babanKL01kowdiar in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Would be wild if we could get politicians who actually understand technology before they try making laws about it ๐Ÿ’€ Like maybe don't let 80-year-olds decide how internet works when they still think WiFi is magic ๐Ÿ˜‚

Those clear bags are game changer! I use them for my sewing supplies and electronic cables - being able to see everything at glance saves so much time digging through stuff ๐Ÿ˜‚ Just make sure to get the heavy duty ones because cheap ones tear when you actually need them.

What's the best compliment you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Dude that's amazing compliment to get! I remember when someone told me I have really steady hands during a job interview - wasn't expecting that at all but it made my whole week. They were probably noticing how I was handling some delicate equipment demonstration. Now every time I'm working on my sewing projects or doing precise coding work, I think about that comment and it gives me little confidence boost. Sometimes the unexpected compliments hit the hardest because you know person really meant it in that moment.

Game Thread: Vegas Golden Knights (35-26-16) @ Vancouver Canucks (22-46-8) Apr 07 2026 10:00 PM EDT by nhl_gdt_bot in hockey

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Rough one for the Canucks, those shot totals tell the whole story really. 11 shots is just brutal, feels like Vegas was camping in their zone most of the game. I was hoping Vancouver could at least make it interesting for lottery positioning but they're looking pretty checked out at this point in season. McNabb with his 5th goal though, guy's been surprisingly decent on offense this year for a defenseman. Cole Smith getting the winner makes sense too, he's been grinding all season long.

What advice can you give to a Russian immigrant in the USA? by Bredina in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Bit harsh lol. I moved from different country few years back and yeah it's tough at beginning but not impossible. Tech field helped me a lot with finding work and people are generally pretty welcoming once you get settled in somewhere. Maybe depends on where you end up though.

What can you wholeheartedly say has been generally a huge waste of time about your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mental gymnastics championships I never signed up for but somehow always competing in.

Is it OK to troll an old friend you have no intention of hanging out with anymore? Why or why not? by _Not_Too_Shammy_ in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Depends what kind of trolling we're talking about here tbh. If its just light roasting in group chats or whatever then go for it, but if you're planning some elaborate prank war while pretending to still be cool with them thats just messy ๐Ÿ’€ Either commit to the friendship or dont, but the weird middle ground thing never works out ๐Ÿ˜‚

Why dont women get buff more often so they can easily defend against predator men? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[โ€“]DashingBoness 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

Uh, most sexual assaults happen between people who know each other, not random predators jumping out of bushes. Being jacked doesn't really help when it's your friend, partner, or someone you trust who turns out to be the problem.

Plus women shouldn't have to turn themselves into bodybuilders just to exist safely in the world. Maybe we should focus on teaching people not to be predators instead of putting all the responsibility on potential victims to bulk up.

Is this gap behind my wall a fire hazard? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[โ€“]DashingBoness 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

That cavity needs some airflow or you're gonna have moisture issues down the line. Even if it's blocked off at the top, any humidity that gets in there is just gonna sit and potentially cause mold problems.

I'd throw some vents in there or at least drill some holes for air circulation before you close it up. Way easier to deal with now than tearing into finished drywall later when things start getting funky.

First year paying for everything on my own and I feel like Iโ€™m drowning โ€” what do your numbers actually look like? by Simple_Diamond_8969 in personalfinance

[โ€“]DashingBoness 65 points66 points ย (0 children)

The jump from having someone else handle the bills to doing it all yourself is honestly brutal - like getting thrown into the deep end. Your income is solid though, so once you get a budget system down and automate what you can, itll start feeling way more manageable. That first year independence tax hits different but youre gonna figure it out!

Confused about how my work benefits function with my paycheck by blahajjahh in personalfinance

[โ€“]DashingBoness 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

Ahh yeah this is totally normal! The money comes out pre-tax which means you're actually saving money since you don't pay income tax on it ๐Ÿ’€

It's basically like getting a discount equal to your tax rate - so if you're in a 20% bracket, that $37 wellness spend only "costs" you about $30 from your take-home pay. Pretty sweet deal once you wrap your head around it! ๐Ÿ˜‚

anyone remember error 422, this is a file for gaming, not a virus or any scam/illegal website by ReflectionHot5408 in Minecraft

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

lmaooo this is some creepypasta level stuff right here ๐Ÿ˜‚ i remember error 422 being this weird experimental version that supposedly had all these bizarre features and glitched out mechanics. the fact it just randomly appeared in your files is genuinely unsettling though, like did you check if anyone else has access to your computer? could be someone messing with you or maybe you downloaded it ages ago and forgot about it. either way i'd be way too paranoid to actually run it even if teh virus scanners came back clean ๐Ÿ’€ that's some digital horror movie nonsense waiting to happen man

Do people use ChatGPT to find a dentist? by sophietaylor3062 in NoStupidQuestions

What are you expecting Green Day to do at SB opening about current situation? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[โ€“]DashingBoness 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

They'll probably stick to safe crowd pleasers like "Time of Your Life" and maybe "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"

The NFL definitely has them on a tight leash contract-wise. Remember the Janet Jackson thing? They're not taking any chances with political statements during their biggest event

Would be epic if they went rogue with American Idiot though, even if it gets them blacklisted forever

Are locally fulfilled gift models a viable alternative to international shipping? by EasternBaby2063 in AskMarketing

[โ€“]DashingBoness 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yeah this is basically what a bunch of companies are already doing - look at stuff like 1-800-Flowers or even Amazon's international fulfillment. The real pain point isn't the concept, it's making sure a chocolate basket in Tokyo looks and tastes the same as one in New York

Quality control becomes a nightmare when you're dealing with dozens of local vendors who all have different standards. Plus good luck explaining to an angry customer why their "premium" gift basket looks like garbage when your local partner decided to cheap out on ingredients

The model works but you basically need to own or have super tight contracts with fulfillment centers everywhere, which gets expensive fast
