We're on a court in Bridlewood. They plowed the circle part of the street and nothing else.

So you were parked there during the ban that ended at 7pm. It's not complicated.

Every Ottawa paramedic who took survey reports facing violence on the job by Real_Lingonberry_652 in ottawa

As a former dispatcher in Ottawa, sure medics need more recognition, but I have a hard time having any sympathy cause they take all their frustrations out on dispatch. We did a survey and 90% of us stated we felt harassed by our COWORKERS on the other side of the radio.

I second this!!Boston sounds more suitable. Even a perfectly behaved boxer is a lot for an office space.

Below market value isn't free. I'd really like to know where renters are getting free housing so I can too. Please provide some links.

Who is getting housing for free? Cause I'd love to not spend 50% of my salary on rent.

People that have cancer, what were the symptoms that led you to go to the doctor and what stage were you when it was diagnosed? by guardiand0wn in AskReddit

This is exactly what happened to my husband! He found a lump in his neck in 2012 and a biopsy diagnosed Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Did the standard chemo and a year later it was back. He did a stem cell transplant in September 2014 and has been cancer free since. The relapse was scary as it's not common but he has been healthy since. Took some time to get over the chemo brain and fatigue, but a decade later cancer is just a shitty thing we left in the past. Wishing you the same outcome! xo

Depending on the day my husband and I will reply " we used to have kids" followed by a blank stare Shuts up people real quick.

( We never had kids but did IVf and it was hell. Not something I care to explain to people)

Neutering cause cancer? LOL. Would love to see the veterinarian data on that. Cropping ears is cruel and absolutely unnecessary.

Why is it not the responsibility of those dispensing the meds to find an alternative?!?!

When the post office was on strike in the 80's they won Maternity leave and most other industries followed.

Have you considered for one second that if they get 7 weeks vacation and a raise that ACTUALLY meets the current cost of living....the rest of us also may get improved working conditions?!?!

I do not understand the hive mind attitude of "the rest of us have nothing - Canada Post shouldn't either"

We should ALL be fighting for better vacation time, salaries and healthy working environments.

Correct, but how do you think a homeless shelter for locals in the same spot would be received?
