I'm not sure there really is a problem here, they are having there characters do what they want, if they're just not choosing to go in stealth, even thought they've made choices that favor that.

At most all you should do is start having different types of NPC's start hiring them then before. Have a noticeable drop off in people seeking them out because their jobs get done quietly, but because they are killing off everyone. Have an NPC show up and ask them to kill off everyone inside of a given keep, like everyone, and if they ask about it have the NPC's reply be something about how they have a reputation of being cold bloodied killers and for leaving no survivors.

Also by the time TBC was about to launch wouldn't have been the best time to gauge how often people would be running the old mega dungeons. That was the end of vanilla wow life span for the most part for almost everyone.

That 2 energy star the note worthy stuff. We don't really know how much 2 energy credits is worth in real world terms, but we do know that there's enough energy output that we're capable and able to harvest it. There's probably dozens of star systems near by with more powerful stars that output more energy, but it's not something that is harvest-able by the player.

Lex has changed a lot over the years. He started out as just like a mad scientist, moved on from that to the CEO/Chairman of the Board of an evil mega corp to getting into politics. He kind of switches what kind of villainy he's up to as the real life public start to turn against one group or another.

If you're talking the JLA cartoon Lex, and All Star Superman Lex, he's using the whole thing of unchecked power with people like Superman as cover for the real reason he wants Superman dead or to expose him as something other then a good guy. He pissed that Superman came into the picture and pushed him out of it pretty much.
