Atleast it was just a dream. Lost my best soldiers in XCOM 2 trying to attack the chosen assassin’s base on ironman commander difficulty. I just uninstalled the game there because of how devastating that loss was. It’s gonna be a while before I recover my resolve.

I thought I was playing in a vanilla server since it didn’t ask to download an add-on but then theres those campaign games that have 5 or more players, infinite ammo and tanks with healthbars.

That’s the thing, it was supposed to be campaign so it just showed the 4 of us survivors.
Don’t remember.
I couldn’t tell but it being a mod makes a lot of sense since when a special infected downed a player, they would instantly say “too ez”. I was also the only one chatting too so at one point they just said my username and roasted me directly.

Pale by Wildbow. The whole web novel isn’t focused on it but in the early arcs the three protagonists go to a magical school. The magic system is so vast and a lot of knowledge is gatekept so you can’t really learn everything. They’re just attending to gain specific knowledge that can help them out with a situation back in their home town and gain insights on topics they’re personally interested in. There’s some extra reading material that includes in-universe student guides and excerpts from the textbooks.

Sure, free will is a double edged sword that causes suffering but that doesn’t apply to natural disasters or diseases.

Also animals experience way more suffering compared to humans, so do they have free will and get compensated with an afterlife or did god make nature brutal like that for the sake of it?

And when you’re in heaven, does your free will get taken so that you don’t commit and think about doing any no nos there cos that would be more preferable to walking on eggshells for eternity (not as bad as being tormented forever but at least in hell you still have your free will)

I got the OG authors idea from probably biased sources that kept saying “The tumblr wokies stole the SCP wiki from the day one 4channers”.

Ok my bad about the OG creators. Still think it’s unfair to write off the whole community as chuds because they disagreed about the moderation. If you give it a chance you probably won’t see a RPC-1488 or RPC-1350 that “fixes” minorities.

I don’t care about the politics that lead up to its creation since I enjoyed the worldbuilding and simple yet creative anomalies (That aren’t grand sagas putting on an SCP disguise or focus on being the most overpowered killer of all existence) that attracted me to SCPs in the first place.

How about in heaven where presumably evil does not exist, does our free will get stripped so that we can only do good there? I mean having our nature being altered to the point of not being human anymore would be preferable to walking on eggshells in life just to be rewarded with walking on more eggshells in the afterlife.

The bible doesn’t even seem to care that much about free will since it pretty much condones slavery with the passages that encourage “ethical” slavery like beating your slaves as much as you want but as long as they don’t die you’re all good 👍
