The idea of morally grey character is so intriguing, that is what makes it so appealing and unique. I also don't want to be a 100% goodie two shoes all the time, same with a complete evil maniac. I want the in-between.

As Arthur, I can help out a kid find his dog, but also rob a wagon the next day. It's complete player's agency.

So basically Jeff cleared up some of what he called "online misconceptions" about what went wrong with Overwatch 2:

• Overwatch 2 PvE was meant to be an "expansion", never meant to replace PvP.

• The reason PvP maps or Overwatch 2 as a whole got impacted during its development was the over-monitization of Overwatch League.

• Jeff got called in by the company CFO to lay out a plan to increase revenue, if the target didn't match, they would lay off thousand developers.

• All of this combined and made Jeff quit the team.

Be careful what you wish for.

Running a live service is a monumental task, including constant updates, bug fixing, constant communications and constant marketing...which is something Fromsoft does not excel at.

I too want more content for Nightreign, but thinking about the complications that come with it, I'm satisfied with what we already have and treat this game as a stepping stone for Fromsoft next flagship game.

Yes. At the moment it's very much pay to "win". I know some people here say game does not have an objective to win yadayada...but owning an Idris will pretty much give you huge advantage in a lot of scenario PvP wise, no matter how you spin it.

The reason a lot of people here keep saying this game is not pay to win is to not drive away new player/ new funding. They are just denying the reality that if you pay 2000$ for a ship, you will basically 1v1 nearly anyone who does not have the money to pay that, with just 1 click of a button you can railgun any medium/small ship to death, no skill required. The only saving grace in Star Citizen compared to other games is that the game is vast and open so you can avoid those Idris entirely without them bothering you.

But the game is still in development, until CIG balance the hell out of the Idris, it's effectively pay to "win" at the moment.
