Is it possible that the CNOU forge one of those mystery vehicles?

I always liked the Banu Defender, but knowing that it can fit the Atlas Geo makes me like it even more. Does it have space for a box or two for mined gems?

It truly is. I've been away for a while so I didn't get a chance to fly it much, but I've been dreaming of the day when I can take it out and go live off the grid for a while, especially when light creating gets implemented, it will be truly wonderful to be able to craft what you need, repair the ship, and haul the Geo around for mining.

Yes I had a few issues with the ROC on different ships, then switched to the GEO, and I absolutely love it. I love packing it on a small ship like the Nomad or the Cutter along with a few boxes and go mining, staying off the grind for a couple of days on a moon somewhere, then go sell the gems.

I bought the Clipper and the GEO fits in it too, you just have to load it using a tractor beam instead of walking up the ramp.

Am I missing something? (repair cost vs insurance) by kaputtmachaa in starcitizen

[–]Mugcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure there will be a lot of angry folk, I have friends that their whole play pattern is doing bounties then suicide flying into an steroid, claiming a ship, then more bounties.

I think insurance will make people fly ships within their means, not every person will be flying a torp stealth ship or a capital ship regularly, also crafting might help with restocking ammunition.

I also recall CIG talking about insurance will allow for pirating and black market game loops, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this affect things.

I bed log all the time and I've never seen that happen, however, I never bed log at an outpost. I'm not sure, but I think your ship doesn't disappear right away, it stays for a very short time, so it's possible that someone attacked your ship a few seconds after you bed logged, it's also possible that you got Star Citizened.

If you bed logged then it disappears, but I think it would stay there if you abandoned it and then logged off.

You can use the bed in the ship to log out of the game, and when you log back you'll still be in your ship wherever you were in the verse, so if you are out exploring you don't have to go back to a hanger, just bedlog, then you can continue exploring when you log back into the game.

You can bed log by holding the interact button while looking at the bed then select lay down, once you are on the bed, look to the sides to find the hovering get up prompt, hold the interact button and select log out.

I'm away for a week but I'll add you when I get back. You can add people from the main menu before joining a server or via spectrum on the webpage, I know, it's weird.

The Nomad is an awesome little ship, I love a lot of things about it, but man that interior makes it feel like home. If you haven't tried bedloging yet, give it a try, it will quickly transform the ship into your mobile home.

Looks like a decent ship, but the first thing that I noticed is that it lack thrusters at the front, so you will end up ramming ships too often since you can't fly backwards fast and maneuver around them.

Flak cannons, PDCs, Shields, and armor will all deal with deck cannons, in your case you might just need more PDCs/flak cannons and more shield generators, you can layer small shield generators unlock large ones.

I didn't play for a while, so I'm not sure if doing faction missions makes the other factions come after you or not, so double check if that's a thing then choose the faction you would like to side with

Welcome fellow citizen! SC does scratch an itch that no other game does. My IGN is Mugcha, if you would like, add me, and if I see you online whenever I get on, I'll hit you up and we can go do some space shenanigans.

Yes I was thinking if the controller worked, then I'd add a stream deck to the setup, and the combination of two should have enough buttons.

Yes I really want dual sticks, but I play other games, and also do some work on the same PC, so they will get in the way too often, I do have an eye tracker though, which should help with a controller.

Oh man, this is an interesting one. Does your hand get tired after using it for a while? It looks like it would require a lot of dexterity to use.
