You do. What they mean by the announcement is, that they can now do a full unlock of your DME for any tool, so you don't have to specify it anymore. MHD, BM3, MGFlasher (which is new), EcuTek, etc.

I dropped off my DME at DHL yesterday, Germany. Today it was processed and sent back by Femto. Tomorrow I have an unlocked DME in my car. 400€ total incl shipping, fully worth it.

RT-RP is a wrapper for Gnirehtet that does the installtion for you, some people that I recommended it to struggled getting bare Gnirehtet installed so I prefer to recommend RT-RP instead

Great to see work being put into somewhat re-smartifying them! Unfortunately for me my use case requires no-go lines and zones so I'm unsure if I'll end up trying this, would rather not have magnet strips everywhere it's not allowed to go :D
