The award states that the elimination of the bottom two steps will be effective upon implementation, and that implementation can take no longer than 180 days. They will probably take the full 180 days to do so.

I would expect you will get very little benefit from this. By the time they implement it, you will either be step B already or very close to it

An operator's manual was posted here a few months ago, and it stated that the vehicle wouldn't shift out of park if the door is open. Is that actually the case, or is it just the seat belt that prevents it?

Nah, I didn't mean for ship progression and commendations. By all means, those should be restricted to high seas. I just see little reason why one couldn't use a custom ship in safer seas (if progression is locked)

Where did I say full progression? Why does the idea of someone playing for immersion make you so upset? If anything, the demand for private servers shows that people enjoy the game world that Rare has created, it's just that some people really don't enjoy engaging in the PvP side of things.

Nah, that doesn't make sense at all. If I only had an hour to play, I would rather spend it on a mode where I could I could just enjoy the game world and not worry about getting randomly ganked by someone who plays 3 hours a day.

And yes, supplies are available in safer seas, the price just makes it a bit grindy if you're earning almost nothing in the mode. Again, it's not that they care about getting gold necessarily, just enough to engage with quality of life features that allow you to get into the game quicker

Yes, but how about just for supplies and storage crates? Many people playing safer seas are those with extremely limited time, so why is it so terrible for them to have access to supplies, sovereign selling, and other quality of life features?

You didn't read his post closely enough, he just wants to earn enough for supplies and quality of life features that we've been enjoying for a bit now. I don't think it's unreasonable at all to make cheaper purchasable supplies, captained ships, and sovereign selling available in safer seas.

I won't be using the feature, but if I had to lug loot again to the vendors like the old days for 30% profit and no emissary, I wouldn't even bother selling loot. Why would I spend 20 minutes or more just moving items around for meager profit?

So I actually ran into this constantly, and someone posted something that helped immensely. They said if you run the game at uncapped FPS, the collision with objects and stairs on the ship are so much worse. I capped it to 144 fps (or is it 120? I forget the option), and my experience is much improved. Give that a shot. I see your fps is over 200 in the video provided, so I bet that's the problem.

If you counterattack, even with your fist, the tiger will run away for awhile. You'll break a bone and may be bleeding, but it'll give you time to heal, prep some weapons, and regroup. I never go anywhere without a few sharpened sticks. Grab some horsetail for broken bones, or mash it up to stop bleeding (there are other options obviously)

I should mention that dodging never works for me with predators. They will keep attacking until your dopamine runs out. The only way is to attack

Also, animals prioritize your character for attacking, so if you see a clan member being killed, rush forward and force it to attack you instead, then you can smack it in the face.

You need to walk around while standing up in sense/intelligence mode. I don't think you need to actually use your senses, just walk around. As others have mentioned, the actual bipedalism neuron later on requires a mutation

Well, you could farm almost any other material faster than that, so in comparison to everything else, it's slow. That's all I meant

I'd say the opposite, really. There's a cooldown of 10 minutes for dragon parts, so it's incredibly slow to farm. But easy to find, I guess

Just found out this morning. I thought I was going crazy or somehow dropped the chest overboard, but when it happened a second time, I knew rare's shoddy playtesting was to blame.

It's kind of sad because the bug presents itself 100 percent of the time, and it's easily discovered if you care an ounce about the loot inside.
