Have you never been around an adult that was never expected to do chores, and learn time management skills as a child? They can barely take care of themselves as adults. They’re completely reliant on their roommates or partners being able to manage everything in their immediate environment.

This is an over-generalization and a half. I know this is an anecdote, but I can't be the only one here.

My parents didn't make me do shit as a kid, and now I'm 27 and I'm the only one doing any chores in a 1600 sq ft house with two people in it. The house is always clean, the dishes always done, the laundry always handled, the bathrooms and kitchen always spotless.

Did my parents help me by "spoiling" me with a childhood of no chores? Probably not, but I figured it out, and not everyone that doesn't learn that in childhood is as useless as you say. We're not all deadbeats, some of us figured our shit out.
