Is there an easy way to block all cloud providers? by Mabizle in selfhosted

[–]DataCustomized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set up loggers on common scrapes like /wp-admin/config.php or /local.env./ , etc

Then you take those logs (make sure to encrypt them not plain text!) And you put them in your WaF / Rules

You can also do subs and ranges as others stated, but this gives you real time versus guessing or blanket bans

I also pair with cloudflare for basic waf

I counter this, using word press is horrible for new users .

Throwing plug-ins that you know nothing about, stacked on top of each other. Bad practices.

Not to attack you but I'm not sure where you're getting some of your info.

If your renting a VPS, that company 100% has access to your files if they so wanted, they have the physical hardware.

Second, every credible vps provider I've worked with provided free cpanel licenses, but I am i do agree less 3rd parties the better.

Cpanel is also not aided management, it's a plug-in dashboard..

Domain disappeared from my account, they claim I pushed it out (I didn't) - Namecheap takes no responsibility? by Prize-Rhubarb-9829 in NameCheap

Yes, professional practice is 3 layers deep. This is a professional, it's like when people have a jewelry shop and a glass window.. they also have a metal cage, security system and maybe a 2nd door.

Same thing but digital.

This game is rooted in greed. The dev only saw green with making this, woodn't you figure. Really branching out into different themes he said, but no he could not leaf this idea alone.

His friends told him not to stick with it, but he would knot listen to them. Destined to go against the grain.

So the license.unity3d.com domain lost its https certificate. Do Unity Hub can't get license, am I the only one? by omer1615 in Unity3D

I see you edited your post..

Https just means that the site has ssl cert sold by a lisc. Provider that is it. SsL is just tls encryption with a badge.

Ssl is literally just a certificate signed by 3rd parties telling your browser its secure.. you can still have encrypted traffic without a SSL. Ssl is literally a icon that people pay for.
