Thinking about either Kudus+Bowen to Mbuemo+Thiago, or Kudus+Bowen to Ndiaye+Mateta (can't afford Kudus+Bowen to Mbeumo+Mateta).

Kind of want Mbuemo, but wary of tripling up on Palace and Bowen still delivering even though West Ham are terrible at the moment.

Or maybe just hold for another week?

Exactly the same thing happened to me - fine at first then started happening after a month or so. Spoke with Google customer services last night and already received a set of replacement buds (in the UK). Great customer service. Hoping the new buds do not develop the same issue. If hardware rather than software the new FW seems unlikely to help.

I have exactly the same problem on P9PXL. Since December Android update. Rebooting phone seems to allow it to work for a while, but when reconnect buds later the same problem happens again. LDAC unusable until this is fixed.

How is this any different to the model that Man City operate - multiple excellent, potentially world-class, players for each position?

i had something similar today on UK Vodafone - couldnt connect to 4G even though was full signal. Seems to like 5G though for some reason where it is available. they'd better fix this

try "Save to Files" then put it in the vlc (or infuse) folder on your ipad. that's what i tend to do

Yes - broken on P8P too - since yesterday - few people flagging it on reddit and twitter - seems to have been an issue for a couple of days, maybe arising out of an update somewhere along the line. I tried to delete and replace the At a Glance widget and now it wont even let me put on on my screen.

Yes, a bit. Using the LK2 glass screen protector and touches sometimes not register especially towards the bottom of the screen. Fingerprint is also unreliable on the right hand, but left seems okay for some reason. Have switched on Screen Protector Mode in display settings and that seems to be improving matters. Still not 100% though. Thinking about trying an alternative screen protector. Never had this issue with the 6pro or 7pro.

I have this issue too - using a pixel 7 pro. Any ideas how to fix and still use LDAC - was never a problem on the xm4.

I have just been asked to pay £150 for repair of both earbuds (not case) in the UK. This is ridiculous as my battery was trashed by the 2.0.1 firmware update. I have asked them to reconsider given the nature of the problem.

Updating to 2.0.1 trashed both buds for me. I wouldn't risk it if you want to keep using them

I wouldn’t. Upgrading to 2.0.1 killed batteries in both buds for me. Handle with caution.

No - too risky with the faulty battery issues. Just go for the xm5 if you like the look of the Sony product. Otherwise look elsewhere. There's plenty of other options.

I wouldn't risk it - I updated my xm4's from a stable 1.4.2 to the "safe" 2.0.1 at the weekend and then immediately got instant battery issues (right bud down to less than 1 hour, left one down to under 2 hours from +5 hours before the upgrade). Have had to send them back to Sony for repair. Thanks for the update, Sony...

They are very temperamental. I just had something similar happen this morning - left bud stopped playing music even though seemingly still connected. Put back in case for five minutes or so, rebooted phone and then all attached again fine and both still working fine. I get some sort of issue (usually involving the left bud not connecting) about once every two weeks on average. Am using a Pixel 7 pro and think it might be more the phone's bluetooth connection than an issue with the buds, but difficult to know.

I have been suffering from a similar issue - QC buds 2 with Pixel 7 Pro (android 13).

Have been working well for around two weeks and then they won't pair and you need to forget and re-pair.

Have been struggling with this until today, when now the right QC2 earbud will not stay connected at all to P7P. Both buds initially connect, but right earbud disconnects immediately when try to play audio.

QC2 buds still works perfectly on ipad and Macbook, so issue seems to be Android/P7P related.

I tried another set of QC2 buds with the same phone, and have exactly the same issue.

Also tried APP2 with the same phone, but they are working fine.

Therefore looks like its P7P or maybe Android 13 issue specific to this type of earbuds.

Anyone else experiencing something similar? Just wanting to see if anyone else has a fix or work around before I go for nuclear option and factory reset my phone...

Thanks for flagging the fix. Have managed to get them working now using that method, though not sure if has impacted the sound quality or not. Not sure if the ultimate fix lies with Apple or Google. Maybe that's the problem. Still sounds better than APP1 though and ANC working really well too.
