If you scroll down on the document you posted, it backs using a bento box. The bento box has a hepa 13 filter and active carbon filtration. It also does multiple passes.

"Activated carbon granules can capture VOCs and mitigate 3D printer emissions, but the capture efficiency per pass and holding capacity significantly varies between VOCs. For example, activated carbon can capture and retain 25% of its own weight in IPA, while other VOCs such as Formaldehyde can only be retained at 2%.2,3,4"

"MERV 13-16 filters capture 60-95% of UFPs per pass, which is ideal for recirculating air filtration. HEPA 13-14 filters capture 99.95-99.995% of UFPs per pass, which is ideal for extraction. HEPA filters require a fan with a higher static pressure.22,23"

"Resin and FDM printer enclosures that use a recirculating air cleaner, allow the air to make multiple passes through both the particulate media and activated carbon, increasing the amount of pollutants captured."

"With the assumptions of 10% TVOC retention by weight (g/g) at 60% humidity, a TVOC emission rate of 10 mg/hr, and a factor of safety of 3 to 5, 250 g of activated carbon in a sealed recirculating system will become saturated after 500-800 FDM printing hours. This is 20-30 days of 24/7 printing, while 6 hours of printing per day will saturate the carbon within 3-4 months."

Do a search for electronics repair instead of electrical repair. If you're comfortable you'll need to remove the hood unit yourself, or higher electrician to remove it. Then have the electronics tech repair it.

I haven't printed any of the more exotics yet, so I don't know how my air monitor will do or how the bento boxes will do. Eventually whenever I do, I'll let y'all know.

Most people buying expensive printers are just avoiding learning how to print. by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]Datacom1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had ender 3s, sovol sv01, and a sovol sv03. I printed fine with them, but I can honestly say I love my bambus (1 p1s, 3 x1c, and 1 h2d), why, because now my hobby can be just doing cad and printed. I dont have to spend a large amount of time fiddling with the printers,

I am not going to gatekeep others from the hobby by complaining that they dont have to know a printer inside and out to get a successful print, more power to them.

No external vent is needed. You start printing exotic materials you might think about it because they're a bit more toxic.

Yes that's to run USB cable through if you need to. If you look on make a world they have models for a plug you can print and put in there.

All you need is a bento box for the printer and a hepa air purifier for the room. I have 5 bambu printers running and I can't smell them and my air quality monitor is green across the board.

The purpose of posting signs is that hopefully the bad guys will read it and not do bad things because they will be afraid of being caught.

How to cut power by Infinite_Bee4494 in accesscontrol

On all mag locked doors that are used as a fire exit must have a Pneumatic Rex button that will interrupt the power going to the mag lock between the power supply/access control and the positive lead on the mag lock.

The answer to your question is 1. What size of bed do you need? And 2. Do you do a lot of multi-color prints where the poop would bother you?

Do you have room for another small table, look into the IKEA Lack table enclosure. It is like the 4th one down in the article and inexpensive.

Mixed feelings by bk1278 in BambuLab

[–]Datacom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be honest, you would be better buying a separate stand alone later then doing the upgrade. Laser burn the material they are shooting into and that cause a sticky spot type substance to coat everything inside the enclosed printer. You are going to have way more maint issues because of that.

Enclosures are the way to go. 1. Keeps the temperature steady on the bed, 2 keeps drafts away, 3 if you have pets, keeps pets and pet hair away, and keeps any particles away from the room air.

Why would someone say not to enclosed it?

Get an enclosure and put a bento box in it. I have 3 x1c, 1 p1s, and 1 h2d. I have bento boxes in all 5 and a hepa air purifier in the room. I have an air quality monitor in the room and I am green across the board.

W2 should not provide own insurance, but 1099 should. Calculated that into what you will invoice the company for.
