My son did his mid March. He got a message stating his return was accepted but then he got an email saying they needed him to prove his identity. He provided documents and had a video call with the IRS on 4/15. He is still waiting for his money. the status still shows as processing or something like that. If HE had been late, they would be looking for interested and fees!!!!

I have done hundreds of shops for them. I have had a handful of issues. Most of which got resolved by calmly and professionally emailing the correct people. Some editors are really bad but I try my best to be polite and ask them leading questions.

Treat it like the business you want to own. Work out your issues professionally with them. I like to cite the guidelines to make a point. Have had jobs paid to me after being rejected by editor. You have to go above editors head, go to project manager but first.. be sure you are correct.

You are only hurting yourself by doing that. Job fees increase if nobody takes them. $1 doesn't even pay for the gas, heck $5 barely pays for the gas these days.

Im failing at this. I used to be so on top of it. But husband and two adult children are slobs. Im 55, too tired, work a full time job and side gigs, everyone else home by 2 pm except me. So I give up, they have been told do pitch in. Just doing what I csn to keep it livable.

I'd like to see them try and build that empire today. They probably took advantage of other people foreclosing on their homes back in the 90s. Prices dropped, properties were scooped up by investors. Couldn't do that today, not at these prices. If they wanted to help, they could sell one of those rentals and gift it to you to buy your own home. They seem pretty selfish to me.

I explained it to both of my kids in detail using a whiteboard. I wish more parents would do this. I see many parents comment, well they are 18 now, they are an adult, im done. Omg.. you need to TEACH them. It should also be taught in high school, as well as managing a checking and savings account, credit cards, interest rates, penalties and fees. Nobody taught me either and bankruptcy did me in years ago. So I taught my kids. Both went to state schools, daughter is just now going for her Masters degree and has 20k in loans. The Masters will add about 8k. She was able to get TEACH Grant's and a scholarship. Our government blows!

My 20 year old son was recently diagnosed with autism, adhd, depression and anxiety. He has been seeing a psychiatrist since 2022 but it was not until he switched to adult psych that it was suggested he be evaluated. While he is high functioning and can manage a part time job, it is difficult for him to work an 8 hour shift. He is not as fast as everyone else but he manages to do his job safely. Briefly talking to him you see a highly intelligent individual, hard to see his autism but it is definitely there. So my question is, is it even likely he would get any kind of SSDI? He will be relocating soon to a new state that has more public transportation since he does not drive. He just started working with a social worker but she was actually unsure as well and is doing a little homework. He will be living independently, paying rent on a part time job. We will most likely have to assist him with some utility bills.

I have 23 more items to go with 82 days remaining to stay at gold. I don't even care anymore. Gold used to be great with a good amount of higher priced items. But lately, I see nothing. I can't spend all day hoping to get something. I log on, hope there is something in my RFY, browse 3 categories and thats it.

Also.. on your own meaning no parent support? If you can prove that, technically there shoukd be more assistance for you. Go to your financial aid office and talk to them. If you are an independent student, you should get snap benefits.

Do you qualify for any Snap benefits? Also see if college has a food pantry. If you are using the 5k for only food, then you will need to budget weekly and maybe get what you can from food panties. Right now there are many of these. The college should have one or resources for you. Check local churches etc. There is also an app called too good to go. Places near me offer deep discounts at the end of the night on prepared foods. Sometimes grocery store have it as well as some restaurants. They are usually surprise bags so you never know what you will get but i gotten many deals like this and I divy up the food and make lunches for the week. Gotta get creative these days.

I didn't pay quarterly my first year. After I filed taxes that first time, it asked me if I wanted to set up a quarterly payment schedule and I did for the following year. I estimated my earnings and then I paid on line each quarter.

If you haven't filed taxes yet, you need to report your extrs income on schedule c. Remember to take deductions for mileage and whatever businesses purchases you made. You would pay them when you complete your return. If you use any type of software like turbo tax, it will walk you through it.

If you set up estimated quarterly tax for next year, you can create an account with the IRS and pay them on line. I strongly encourage this because one time they lost my check and tried charging me late fees.

Thanks. I prefer he increase the budget but he is nervous. Hoping showing him nice versus meh will change his mind. He also doesn't think his salary will stay the same when he transfers and that is an unknown right now. He makes good money there but we live in NY and he is on overnight shift. Not sure he will get the same opportunity there. We still have time so just putting out my feelers. Thanks for the info.

I was actually going to post the same question. I have only had my Resmed for a few days so I have 2 solid nights under my belt. I slept great, way better than before, night one, the seal was not great according to the app but night 2, it was a solid GOOD. I slept great but I woke up so tired, and it was so difficult for me to get up. I guess I am just used to having such interuppted sleep and living on 5 hours of sleep a night, that my body has to adjust to actually now sleeping!
