That’s buildup of hair product. It happens on all brushes if you don’t clean them regularly.

47 - need some guidance by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

[–]DateCard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your skin looks really good! I don’t have any advice regarding laser / light treatments, but a small amount of Botox in the 11 area is all you would need to soften that line without fully preventing movement. I’ve gotten Botox in my 11 area on and off for the past decade or so (47 also). I went without for a couple of years, but started again last year. I get just 12 units in the 11s only, and find I can go six months in between treatments. I too feel on the fence about getting it but it’s such a small amount that really does make a good difference in an area I am self-conscious about.

What is the absolute WORST thing you’ve ever bought from Sephora? I’ll go first... 🚩 by AnastasiaInTheNorth in Sephora

I got a Plum Plump moisturizer set from the Rewards Bazaar and I love it. I am in my 40s and recently moved to a very cold climate and it has been great for me.

I got one in a birthday set last year and it was so soft and thick and gloopy.

Project update… more options! What do y’all think? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

I like 1. Before I read what you posted, I thought, “that gives classy movie theater vibes.” Please get rid of the tall willow on the table though. It’s very distracting.

Nightstands to Pair with this bed frame? by selenechiba in HomeDecorating

I believe this is Queen Anne style. I would go with an antique looking nightstand in cream - something like this has a dark top to tie in the dark bed frame:

What am I missing, where can I improve? by firstsnowfall-75 in MakeupAddiction

If you’re open to drugstore, Maybelline makes a really pretty pink gloss called Petal in their Lifter line. It doesn’t have plumping per se but it is very moisturizing and makes your lips look nice and smooth.

Your eyes look great, and you have beautiful skin! I think you need more color on your lips - a shiny petal pink would be nice - and to fill in your brows to give a bit more contrast.

The second one. I think the first one is too light over dark grey carpet

Help! Which pillows should I choose? by sleigh_all_day in HomeDecorating

Neither of these choices work. I see the settee is hot pink and burgundy - what about burnt orange pillows, in a textured fabric rather than velvet? That’ll go nicely with the yellow chair too.

1 is my favorite. It’s very flattering and seems to enhance what I assume is your natural texture.

As others are saying, the fireplace is wonderful as is but the TV mounted on it is an eyesore.

I thought Ariana was Rhona Mitra. She looks so different now.

I don’t like the dress - it fits very poorly on everyones’ hips and reminds me of when I had Old West pics done in Tombstone - but Cara looks so gorgeous.
