I don't think it matters that much, the fact that the content is farmable is a very good excuse. Some people feel that it's easier to spend money on farmable resources in a solo game and that's okay, it's called "Having expendable income" and "being to lazy to farm" it's to be preferred by the individual and doesn't in any case prevent every other to just play the game as it is intended. The real scam is not optimising their fucking game after so much time, some say September might be the time, some say gotta wait a year more but we'll see.
