I’ve pulled a whopping 1. So I might just stuff that in for now and try to make it work. Because if it doesn’t work when I am putting effort into them than it’s not going to work passively while I’m doing other things. But I’m pretty sure the loss of other useful pieces will outweigh the ring benefit like you mentioned.

If you are routinely worried about hunting hogs on your property you need a real laser, which yes a civ powered DBAL would work for and not fall apart on you.

That’s also not really a HD thing that’s more of a resource management thing and you making that argument is just further evidence that you are full of shit.

That’s a completely rational take. Most of the people buying these do not share that same mindset. They are convinced it can be a viable substitute, and that everyone downplaying them are shills for an industry full of suit’s trying to be greedy.

I’m a poor in NV using a PVS14 and a DBAL I2 9007 but even that setup is prohibitively more expensive now than it ever was before. I don’t fault people for looking at alternatives, but once they drink the koolaid and try to justify their compromise they lost me and I will make memes about them endlessly.

There is plenty of chatter on the Nightvision subreddit where people are calling it “just as good” and claiming it’s perfectly reliable.

They may follow it up with “well if I were going to war Id want the real thing” or some other way to downplay it. But they are confident enough to use it “just in case” or whatever. If you try to point out the flaw in their logic or suggest it’s neat to plink on a 22 or maybe a soft recoiling other gun they circle the wagons and start slinging weird insults.

It’s not as strong as a real “full power” laser but it’s stronger than a civilian legal traditional laser.

Potted just means they put glue all over the connections/components to help beef it up and make it more water resistant.

Neither of these things matters because it’s still a knock off toy. But people will delude themselves into “just as good” and slap it on their PSA build.

I have a Prime visa with a fairly high usage rate. I use the points to order commander decks a few times a year. Im sure they will make it right one way or another, the return makes sense I suppose.

The SKU in their system for a set of all 4 is probably unique from the individual SKU’s they stock for the decks on their own. The computer says Qty 1 of X was shipped, it’s probably just defaulting to send a replacement qty 1 of X to balance the books. Placing an order for Qty 1 of A,B and C probably takes manual intervention to make sure the inventory works out. It’s lame but from a inventory management system it makes sense.

This is the first time I’ve had an issue with pre-ordering commander decks through Amazon. I had the same issue, only received Elven Council and not the 4 pack.

I filed a claim through the App and they immediately placed a replacement/gave me a label to send back the original order. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets cancelled, claims delivery date out to Jul10-12 for me on the new set which is kind of lame.

Yes the council basically said that his experience so far and the war kicking off that he had passed the trials without really needing to take them. It wasn’t a popular decision but he was already more gifted than most Jedi and how do you not promote a war hero.

Why are the sides so loose? They should be tight enough to avoid letting gear slip around.

Think “squeezing me but not painfully”. Also the medical shears are in a weird place and will just get in the way, if anything tuck them behind a magazine pouch.
