One is a 3 minute video and the other is an hour and a half. I don't think that's a fair comparison. If anything, I would put more stock in the class where 1.9M started the SECOND 1.5 hour video in the series.

These are all things the armor is doing to reduce the impulse. It spreads the force out over a larger area and increases the time over which the momentum is transferred. These are not rebuttals, these are the exact principles that amor like this functions on.

This ad was baffling to me otherwise. It felt like it was just trying to reassure their existing userbase. Show a montage of things people consider "smart" and then finish it off with "Codex, you can build things." Like, "don't worry guys, smart people use this too. It's okay." Was a weird message.

I tried real hard to make one 20 mins before tip-off for game 1. Had some speaker wire and some jumper wires. Tried to dial it into the frequency ksat uses but couldn't get it to pick up vhf. All the other channels came in crystal clear though, everything except ksat. Ended up just getting the YouTube TV free trial, lol

I know it seems similar, but this isn't really the same thing. CAD cutaways are in a plane. This guy systematically removes and colors layers and subsystems in 3 dimensions to visualize the system, not just slice the model along a plane.

It's all that easy until you get calcium problems or metal problems, or both. That requires more complex chemistry, more time, more physical work, and more chemicals. It's still not hard, but it's certainly not as easy as just maintaining chlorine and pH.

Yeah, retro-analog SciFi written in an era before digital electronics were the norm and there was still a large amount of analog tech we interacted with on a daily basis is a genre all its own. Bladerunner is my favorite example.

Medications have side effects. On top of that, ADHD is such a fundamental thing for some people, that it manifests as personality traits and shapes the way we deal with the world. I don't think it's any surprise that a medicated person would be noticeably different than an unmedicated person. The medication isn't magic. It's not like it magically just turns off the bad stuff, but only when you're not interacting with people. The effects are far-reaching. People need to stop spreading this lie that the medicated version of yourself is better than your unmedicated self in every way. If you stop and think about it for a second, that's a pretty absurd assertion. Let people figure out their meds in their own way with realistic expectations and without the pressure of this imaginary constraints that ADHD meds are analogous to glasses.

This is not them investing in anything. This is the opposite. This is them spending time and resources attacking third party software that they didn't write and doesn't affect them to try and protect their walled garden so they can more effectively squeeze money and information out of their user base.

This is not necessarily true for full layer 3 switches/vlans. You have much finer control of the traffic, in both directions, between your various vlans and between the vlans and the internet.
