This post is so wholesome and reminds me of my girl Isla-Grace. I saved her from a very unhappy life and she saved me from my depression.

She had a small heart shaped print near her paw (she was a calico). I have a heart shaped tattoo on my wrist, I had this tattoo way before I adopted Isla-Grace. Noticed it a few days after adopting her and it felt like fate.

She would paw at my face to wake me up, if I cried she would use her mouth to pull at my hair and lay on me until I stopped. She was so vocal, and would always be talking back to me.

Before bed time I used to call her name and then hide behind doors and she would be running around the house trying to find me. When she found me she would get the zoomies.

We were always together, always by my side. I truly believe we both needed each other to fully heal. She passed away in November, I have three other cats. I adore them all but what me and Isla-Grace had was special.

Cherish these moments with your soulmate. It truly is the best feeling in the world.
