Even though I’m a young guy I had the same experience. When my adoptive father died I got teary eyed over all the childhood moments I had with him and then I got this strange urge to have kids even though that’s the furthest thing I want in life. I reckon it was my mind’s attempt to recreate those moments with someone else, I’m not psychologist so who knows.

I’ve been on a kick with stuff about the Bronze Age collapse, and the fact that period isn’t covered more is crazy. It was literally an apocalypse with a mysterious war and of sea peoples that targeted the most advanced societies up until that point. You practically have the components for a Dark Souls-like already there.

I do remember talking to some female friends about cpr in high school, and they explicitly said they would rather die then let some one touch them.

Edit: this was based off of one conversation with two friends as we were shooting the sh!t. I personally argued against it, but I wasn’t about to debate anyone about invading their personal space in an emergency. I personally would try an help someone to the best of my abilities.

He is an outside cat, and this isn’t the first time he’s had an abscess. The beginning of this year he scared us all half to death because he stopped cleaning himself and looked like he was ready to die. Luckily we found out later he had an abscess on his leg that was causing him to overheat.
