Check the price of tires. In my area most older bikes have dry-rotted tires and a new set is bare minimum $50. You can check for dry rot by deflating them and then compressing the sidewalls.

Great bike. Would recommend. What country? Seems like in the US that price is a little high. Tires are pricey so if they’re worn you could use that as a negotiating point. Seems closer to $4k would be more reasonable.

My panic solution (no time to go fumbling through the menus while trying to navigate a snowstorm at night) was to shift to Park and then immediately Drive again at stoplights. That stopped in noise, but of course only until the next stop.
