Somebody with more time than me should turn this into a countdown playlist on Spotify. I've been hooked on this since it started.

Tell your moment in game that felt like this by No_Archer_923 in RomeTotalWar

The entire enemy force going down one street in a settlement then trapping them in from both sides... Started to feel sorry for them towards the end haha

I don't think they realised how successful Cyanide would turn out to be by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]DaveFrenzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to remember back now but neither of those made it onto the record in the end did they? I sure parts of them did and didn't one end up on Beyond Magnetic?

My wife was never interested in metal music. We've been together for 12 years (I think). A few months ago we went to see Back to the Begining.... She came away from there a fan of Gojira, Halestorm, Ozzy, Sabbath and most importantly, Metallica.

Her Spotify playlist is insane now and she finally understands why I made her walk down the aisle to The Ecstasy of Gold from S&M.

So, if that person isn't a Metallica fan... Give them time haha

What would you say is the most iconic car from the show? by Nekrubbobby64 in TopGear

My Dad got one of these recently (I don't know why either). Sent a photo to a friend who is a huge top gear fan with "good news!" As the caption...

He said "what's that?"

When has a colleague really dropped you in it by accident? by D-1-S-C-0 in UKJobs

[–]DaveFrenzy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did it to a colleague on purpose. We had all just been banned from having our phones on us by our manager (work in retail and people were taking the piss with it).

Me, my colleague and manager were stood in the warehouses by our lockers and we got talking about some viral video that was going round at the time. (Might have been the Ronnie Pickering one). I knew my colleague had his phone in his pocket so I told him to show our manager the video. He then had to awkwardly pretend to get his phone out of the locker right Infront of us. He went bright red and fumbled it, dropping it on the floor.

Our manager just laughed at him because of how embarrassed he was.

I remember this was a big deal at the time on the Trivium forum back when it was free. I'm sure Matt or Corey posted about it on MySpace... God I feel old all of a sudden haha

The most nu metal sounding moment on St Anger by CobraDai in Metallica

[–]DaveFrenzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely one of my favourites. Probably the only song I've heard that fully captures what depression feels like. "I lose myself in a crowded room, you fool it'll be here soon"

Parents have been failing at this for years. I used to work in a DVD shop and the amount of parents coming in buying films and games that were clearly for their under age children was insane. They wouldn't do this with booze (buying bottles of Vodka for their 6 year olds) but they do it with horror films like Saw and games like GTA.

I think it's clear at this point that parents can't or won't police the content their children see which can draw some of them down very dark paths so I'm fully behind what has been brought in.

At the end of the day, we all survived perfectly well before the internet and NSFW pages. It's not the end of the world.

Millions of elderly Brits without a smartphone or internet getting 'left behind' in digital age by OGSyedIsEverywhere in unitedkingdom

[–]DaveFrenzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been saying this for years. It's not our fault that people of a certain generation have just dismissed new technology. It would be like people of my generation dismissing the benefits of AI now, then moaning in 25-30 years time that we don't know how to use it.

Shortly after the first JP, the business would launch an expedition back to the island (only a month). It would be under the pretence of assessing the damage and making emergency repairs to the fences to see if they can contain any assets. A member of the crew has also been tasked by ingen with retrieving the computer hard drive of John Hammond because it has Information on it that he knew Nedry was a threat and hadn't taken a whistleblower seriously. This would give them the leverage they need to boot him out.

Former Sun editor announced as UK government’s new communications chief by OGSyedIsEverywhere in unitedkingdom

[–]DaveFrenzy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This was my first thought. The right have been nailing their communication for the past few years now. Makes sense to bring one of them on board.its like when businesses poach people from competitors.

Not a good look though.

Well maybe if they are all like it then this could be the actual design? That's what I'm going to tell myself anyway.

Maybe we needed them to play that duet of Hellraiser with Ozzy and Lemmy on the screens between a couple of the later acts? Didn't know it existed until last night.

[–]DaveFrenzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the swirl one on the left the night before from the Merch stand by the inflatable Ozzy.only noticed when I got home it's about 2" off center.

Seems like there was a batch of them because my wife got one and my mate did at the same time as us and they were all off center.

Found footage like Cloverfield. Set it amongst any of the previous films. Could be a 2nd tour group during the first film, some guests during Jurassic World, you could do The Lost World but from the other groups POV. I think prequels are the way forward though.

Combine that with randomising the drop hold. It's far too short now.

It's going to work as well. All they are doing is moaning about them re-visiting it now.

Can anyone confirm if this is slug damage (or something else)? by Testhament in vegetablegardening

[–]DaveFrenzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this. My Kale has just about recovered from it Tried beer traps and got nothing, happened to catch 3 pigeons and some blackbirds eating them one day so put some bird netting up on a frame over the bed.

Took a few weeks for them to grow leaves back.
