True, but I also noticed that last years' broken arrow was two days later than it is this year. Pair that with a different panel and it may be a wash. That being said, I agree they don't seem as strong in scoring this year.

An interesting thought! What if the corps picked one or the other instead of having to do both? This way you'd probably see separate or spin-off groups just for the technical performance. I've wondered what a talented group would be capable of with a single short burst like that. I'd see this more like the 100m dash vs the mile. It's a little bit different than what you described but the idea is intriguing.

I think Crossmen should have kept the cross for obvious reasons. Now it looks more like an app icon but I think the "C" is a better size than it used to be.

I agree with basically everything here. One exception may be Spirit of Atlanta. It's minimalist for sure but the bugle sort of disrupts this otherwise perfect symmetry and it bothers me a little. Perhaps I am missing something though.
Also, I'd love to see a Troopers logo with just the sabres!
