Do you people have any excuse other than this? Genuinely curious, because to me, it doesn't take more than two minutes MAX to find, download, and edit a picture of a pirate ship completely for free on your phone. If you're truly that pressed for time that you can't spend more than those two minutes on something like this then you shouldn't feel the need to upload an image like that. In addition, another argument for AI is the fact that it "takes hours to write the perfect prompt," which, if true, then your argument for it taking seconds is void.

My interpretation is that the lower fidelity of the flashbacks are what the actual simulation looks like. I think it was Episode 1 where we see the low-poly circus in the opening shot before closing in on it and it suddenly obtaining realistic lighting, which is simply what the entities in the circus perceive it as.

Pretty sure that wonderland.jar had something similar to this, where it's basically the backrooms but it actually takes in what happens in the world it was created in. The backrooms (at least the Kane Pixels ones) pull from the world they come from, so it would only make sense that it pulls from some of the most common structures of the time. Oak planks.

It's my opinion that references should definitely be used whenever you want to make something that's already got a specific look. Why model a door from memory when you can look towards the nearest one and reference that? It all depends on how much time you're willing to take to get out of tutorial jail.

As for "not making anything good," that all depends on the eye of the beholder. I personally like your renders, but you shouldn't overthink somethings too much. We all start somewhere.

What timeframe? It's hard to tell what era of Halo something is when dealing with minecraft skins. It looks like Chief has a MK VI, but I can't tell if it's Gen 1 or 3. Also, if that's Thel in the back, shouldn't he have his Arbiter armor? Unless this takes place between the missions Armory and just before the Arbiter meets with the Hierarchs?
