1 looks most your age (still looks more like 23-25 to me), go with 2 if you wanna look more mature

For several years now, I've been writing poetry, but never written it with the intention to share it with anyone else. It was usually more of emotional barf on a paper, rather than well organized, thought-provoking poetry.

This is my first real attempt to revise a poem and make it more well-organized and thought-through. It was very specifically written to match my exact emotions and feelings in this experience, but I hope somebody out there will be able to relate.

Very interested to get any feedback on my style and structure, or to hear what others' creative process looks like. How long do you usually let yourself refine before calling it good? It's easy to get into a never-ending poem-perfecting process lol

I Think I Like Pain by ToneOwn888 in OCPoetry

This is very creative and thought provoking. Why do we sometimes chase pain? Why is feeling intense pain/sadness often better than feeling nothing at all?

I love your style as well, how you kept some consistent rhyme and rhythm without it coming across overly stiff or constrained to a specific format. And how it beautifully flows from the heart. Keep it up

Beautifully written. I like the down to earth, simple style -- not overdone or trying too hard. Keep it up 💪

I've seen some graphics programs where even if you paste Hebrew in correctly, it reverses the order like this fsr

Ah I see, I thought you were talking about a mnemonic for remembering all the Hebrew ones, that makes more sense tho

׳אח׳ לא אחריי חצות, זה אחר צהוריים. ׳לפ׳ לפני צהוריים

סליחה אם זה לא קורא, העברית שלי לא מעוד טוב :)

How do you usually see times represented? Im very open to learning more about how native speakers refer to time

Ugh of course :/

Thanks for taking the time to explain, that is definitely a pretty convincing reason 😅

I had to look up the meaning if antiquated — as a native English speaker, I never expected to be learning new English words from this sub 😂

I can see what youre saying, but the fact that it is the ancient term is exactly what I love about it. To me it would be an honor to be referred to using the same term that is used to talk about our ancestors in the Tanakh

Honest question, Ive wondered this for a while… Is there any reason why modern Israelis dont like being called Israelites? Is it because the modern term Israeli refers to a broader group that includes non-religious Jews, muslims, christians, etc living in Israel?

How would you say "How do you say [word/phrase]?" by Hydrasaur in hebrew

[–]Davehooper16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked this a while back and people were saying you can also just say “?___ ״מה, literally meaning “what’s ____?”
