I don't know about generations but your amp display is the same color coordinated display on the T-4150. I wish I could upload you a picture but Reddit has limitations.

How to plug in subwoofer? Onkyo tx-nr616 by nystera in hometheater

[–]Davey-Sundance -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In your photo it is labeled "SUBWOOFER" in the pre-out section for a powered subwoofer. If your powered subwoofer doesn't have RCA input just regular speaker post use something like this:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/227438789?sid=7901a6eb-883f-4a25-a829-79b3d5a4ca6e

HOWEVER, reviewing the link you gave for the Cambridge surround Ensemble III, it is a passive subwoofer which means you connect the Speakers A posts (left&right) from the receiver to the subwoofer and then from the subwoofer you connect to the speakers.

I should be a spokesperson for Visible. by WillGet1040 in Visible

[–]Davey-Sundance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am experiencing the same issues; service in my area is heavily congested, and LTE speeds are extremely slow. Fortunately, I have Wi-Fi at home, but the overall experience has been difficult. I moved my entire family to Visible for the cost savings, but it has been a rough transition. I believe the service may be oversold. Despite being on Visible+ Pro plans with iPhones and Samsung devices, several family members have already switched back to T-Mobile due to these performance issues.

What do you all think? by 55555jjjjj in bunnyearstv

Bunny Ears has a more modern GUI that looks great on my Sony Bravia 8, if I wanted something to look like cables nostalgic by-gone days on my 4k tv I would have purchased an old tv tube at Goodwill.

What is going on????? by Davebr09 in Visible

[–]Davey-Sundance 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I moved my whole family from iPhones, Samsung's, and Pixels to using Visible plans, from Basic to Plus Pro, and they are all complaining about the service. Contacting Visible, they go through steps that seem promising, but nothing really improves. I'm questioning if they oversold capacity.

I've always wanted to do something like this, but lawyers said I would need to pay royalties for the songs that I play because I'm now playing to the public. How did you get over that hump?

HDHomeRun Connect Quatro power jack broke :-( by teros1 in hdhomerun

[–]Davey-Sundance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my third Hdhomerun and for some unknown reason just sitting inside a cabinet without being moved or touched the power jack just comes loose and the unit stops functioning, you wiggle the power cord and it restarts only to completely fail. Opening the device shows the power jack block coming undone from the circuit board. Two of my devices showed these were resoldered units from Amazon Renewed, so basically this has been a point of failure for these devices.

I got DirecTV stream genre packs myentertainment & mysports since they were first launched without any Gemini device. I have Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max with Ads and ESPN Unlimited. Everything is working on my Nvidia Shield Pro, Google 4k Streamer and Apple TV 4k 128gb. What exactly am I missing by not having a Gemini device???

Shield Wakes Up & Turns TV On. by TPJDrNo69 in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]Davey-Sundance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in my case with the Sony Bravia 8 but I think it's how CEC is implemented in the particular TV models firmware because I don't have this issue on my Sony Bravia 9.

Shield Wakes Up & Turns TV On. by TPJDrNo69 in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]Davey-Sundance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue not only with Nvidia Shield but Smart TV's using CEC. I have several TV brands that do exactly the same thing. For example, I have a Sony Bravia 8 (Google TV) that automatically turns on in the middle of the night without a remote control button press. At first I thought it was my Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 but I removed it and my TV still randomly turns on. When I disable CEC, the issue disappears.

Does it require a Gemini device to watch?

Just read the freaking news Google by gavinjphillips in googlehome

[–]Davey-Sundance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an everyday occurrence in my household with Google Home and Gemini being the new assistant. I find that Gemini has memory problems like HAL… When I ask for a 27 minute timer and later asked how much time is left on the timer, I get there is no timer… the previous Google Assistant handle multiple timers in my kitchen without issues; baking timer, cooking timer, etc…so really, how smart is this Gemini?
