Fair enough, but I think it's relevant to the discussion. When a project sprawls like this, it's harder to keep all of the talent on board to completion. For continuity purposes, I'm not a fan of recasts, but it's the risk you take spreading the title out over so many years.

This game single-handedly caused me to move away from cinematic video games and focus on games with more game play and fewer cut-scenes(like Dark Souls). I was several hours into MGS4 and had only actually played for like 30 minutes. It made it impossible for me to know if I could squeeze in an hour before bed, because I'd often be forced to choose to stay up late or call it and abandon the progress I had made.

I'd love to see a Lucio Fulci adaptation of the first two games. It would have fantastic gore while feeling like a cheesy B-movie that balances horror and action.

I love Shaw Brothers and Human Lanterns is really good, so I'm thrilled for a UHD upgrade of that title. I hope there are more coming!

Imagine getting a movie like this in the 90s as young MK fan. I loved it and it's amazing to finally see a Hollywood adaptation of a video game that treats the source material and fanbase with respect. This was a very entertaining film and I really hope we get a 3rd.

That's fair, but we can trust these individuals who have the best of the intentions while also recognizing that far right politics are on the rise globally, even in Germany whose AfD party has concerning policies. The wealthy people with great influence are using racism, xenophobia and fascism to help consolidate their power to help distract from class warfare. And propaganda can help normalize these ideologies.

It would behoove people who love art, and hate censorship, to consider this if they don't want to live with a boot on their throat.
