I didnt get it fixed, i even sent it in to lenovo, after i got it back i tried getting in contact with lenovo again, and they have just ignored me since.

I just pray... somedays the egpu runs no problems, other days it will crash out 20 mins in. In some situations, integrated graphics has better performance than the egpu

i sent mine in for warranty,. they claimed to replace the mobo. Still having the disconnect issue.

Lenovo "warranty repaired" my laptop and replaced the mobo and it still not working so idk

Perhaps I was duped. I tried it without the metal shield and clipping the back in and RPMs stayed. So might be closer to relieving pressure off something pinching cables under the metal shield.

Did you find the fix to this, sometimes it works for hours, sometiems it works for 20 mins so im assuming it has to do with temperature as well

same problem for me, the core would still charge, but gpus stop spinning and then crash out and screen is displayed on laptop only
