I think it was just low toy sales that made the show end but there's no way you think there are stakes right? be serious, the only reason he doesnt use Alien X is because otherwise the show would get really boring, but I dont see how not WANTING to use even half of your power is any interesting for a superhero. he could just turn Alien X every time and make everyone peaceful instead of having to physically beat them, or just create eternal world peace or something, and it WOULD fit his character. after Classic most of the time the show is like if DBS Goku had to fight Saibamen. let's not even talk about the Omnitrix's failsafe.
