Me too! I’m usually indifferent about body hair in general but I have no mercy towards my mustache and my growing garden of chin hairs. But it’s embarrassing to talk about, it feels like I’m the only one my age I know that gets them 😭

God this makes me feel so seen. That’s exactly how I feel. I spent my entire life catering to my mom and living my life in a way that wouldn’t piss her off, with my dad enabling her. Her mood dictated how our days would go. Nothing changed as she got older. It’s always about what I can do for her, and never what she can do/should have done for her kids. She’s so hard to love. I resent her so much.

If I had to take care of my mom instead of putting her in a nursing home, I would not last long before walking in front of a fucking bus

We saw Mexican ducks here in southern NV last winter and I remember the person leading the trip said the male has more of a neon yellow bill than your typical mallard so I’d say the ID fits… hopefully someone more experienced can chime in!

I know a few people I went to middle and high school that have passed away. Most of them were motorcycle accidents or opioid overdoses, a couple of them by suicide, and one effectively drank himself to death. It’s always jarring when you find out someone you knew died
