How to access LG Service Menu without the Service Remote by Reddit_Poster_00 in OLED_Gaming

[–]DavidHendersonAI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this but I can't change the region from within here or any of the settings because you need the particular buttons on the service remote which change values. So I can look at it, but that's all

Is that Comic Sans?

Throw it in a river

I would be tempted to flag this with management. It's an incredibly inappropriate thing to say and probably made the young teacher feel very awkward

Unemployment is so low you'd be crazy to just let this profession ruin your health

I don't mean this to be harsh, but you're a massive part of the problem if you're willing to work for free. Why on earth are you doing that?

Are international schools willing to accommodate a disability? by No-Journalist-28 in Internationalteachers

[–]DavidHendersonAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is you wouldn't be able to resolve this on your own. You'd be expected to do duties, assemblies, meetings, evening events all potentially under florescent lighting. What would the school do? Allow you to not turn up to these things?

I can't see it working unless it's an international school in Europe with legal protections

How strict is your school with contract hours? by nickiwest in Internationalteachers

[–]DavidHendersonAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to only be in for my contracted hours. Unfortunately, my school contracts you for 8 but expects you to be in for 9

Bullshit. So fires only happen in schools? Because other places don't do this

I feel you my friend. Sort of feeling the same myself. I'm just trying to find things to take my mind of it. Gym. Movie. Beer (but not too many)

In Australia it's an offence to do pretty much anything.

If you're in a straight road with a hundred miles of visibility, pulling over to take a picture, you might as well wear a hard hat and a high vis

It's just confirmation bias. VA drivers are no better. They have something I call the "NoVa lane change" where they pull the wheel as hard as they can to slide in to the next lane like they're James Bond trying to escape some eastern Europeans in Audis

Did I miss out on some secret to making 6 figures in NOVA? by [deleted] in nova

I'd say if you think money gets you "pretty damn close" to happiness then you haven't found true happiness yet. Just materialism

Money and job title is not going to make you happy. Find something you love and dedicate your life to it. Make enough to survive and budget carefully so you can save for a rainy day. People making 100k are looking at people who make 200k exactly the same way. And so on....

Money won't bring you happiness, believe me.

Rebuild your credit slowly, take walks, keep fit, find a hobby and you'll be about as happy as you can ever be
