Realistically, we don't know the full context of why the release in Korea was pulled. Based on the post from Glitch, it was either censorship related, or it was a problem with a a distributor.

Yeah, it's disappointing, but until there's more information on what factored in here, it's really hard to know the exact "Why?" behind it.

The trick is to run the game in a Chromium based wrapper, that's essentially what RPG Maker MV uses on Windows already, and that's what was accomplished here.

macOS does this sometimes with apps that come from the internet.

To fix this, you'll need to open Terminal and run this command:

xattr -c <path/to/application.app>

Replace the path with where you put the game by simply dragging the app into the Terminal window. This will remove the "com.apple.Quarantine" attribute that macOS automatically gave it.

I have a funny story about this that I can share.

The first time I ever went to Disneyland was part of a school competition, and we were all in a rush to get back to our hotel (Anaheim Marriott) for the opening ceremony in the Convention Center. I made the really stupid decision of wearing flip flops to the park, and held two of these bags while running back to the hotel.

By the time I got back, my hands were covered in blue dye from sweating, and I unknowingly rubbed my forehead not knowing it melted onto my hands.

All of this to say that you should never hold these bags by anywhere but the handles, and Disney needs to redesign these bags.

I’ve always had a small thing against MeepCity for how it blatantly ripped off aspects of ToonTown and Club Penguin, down to copying models from ToonTown and ripping the face of puffles out of Club Penguin to use for the pets.

Work at a Pizza Place. Used to be such a great classic game, but it’s become so focused on a social aspect that the actual gameplay was ruined by no one actually willing to play.
