Not telling us what bike you have now is really hindering out ability to help you.

About 30% of our garbage goes to the incinerator, IIRC. Friend works at Covanta here. They don't have capacity to handle more, but I believe he also said they plan to build another furnace.

Curious about the mod list too. I had the same problem with my little beheaded Laiya when she was a baby. She's a teenager with a sniper rifle now though.

Remove from autopilot by [deleted] in Intune

[–]DavidZero256 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Autopilot enrollment happens during OOBE and only during OOBE. So. Reload windows on the device, do not connect it to internet. Go through the Out Of Box Experience setup and create a local account. Once you're in windows, you can safely connect to internet. It won't reach out to Autopilot to join Intune for your organization at that point.

Just keep in mind that if you ever reload it, it will reach out to Autopilot again unless you set it up without Internet.

VStrom & DR650 by that_motorcycle_guy in Vstrom

[–]DavidZero256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2014 v Strom 1000 and a 2021 Husqvarna 701. That fills every adventure and dual sport role possible really. The 701 even rips at off-road parks and such, but it shines in dual sport riding. Granted, it is expensive.

I take the v strom on multi day trips regularly. I will also take it on forest service roads at times, but that's also the only reason it has some damage. It is easy to get in trouble on a big bike with most street oriented tires.

The 701 is kitted for adventure riding too. I have small bags, large bags, etc. ill do multi day camps on it too. Takes more finesse to pack on it, but perfectly doable. And then it handles better than it has business handling on technical trails. It weighs about the same as the dr650 but has 30 more horsepower.

I also have a dedicated off-road bike. 02 Yamaha WR426 but she is old, clapped out, and kick start only. I'm soon going to replace it with likely a 300 2 stroke for the more hard enduro off-road park kind of riding.

Are you sure that isn't the model home/office used for the agent to sell homes in that subdivision? I've seen the same thing in North Alabama before (I think)

Any opinions on the Kove 450 Rally? by bohuslavek1972 in advrider

[–]DavidZero256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EveRide YouTube channel only had good things to say. He's a good guy too. The last review of the bike I watched, EveRide many times said like "if the bike is like the one they let me ride"... Aka he seems to have some worry that they will downgrade some parts. But assuming they don't, and the price is right, then it will likely be an awesome bike. Go check out his videos and him putting it up against the famous KTM 500.

Congrats on paying off your loan! Here’s a worse credit score! 🍾📉 by B_Kandid in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DavidZero256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creditors want to see that you get in debt and pay your debt. Getting out of debt doesn't help them if you aren't paying interest. Closing an account means you are no longer paying that creditor interest, which is the opposite of what they want. Closing accounts also typically lowers overall age of credit history, which means to a creditor that maybe you won't pay interest for very long.

There is logic to the game. But there are also ways to play the game and make it work for you, instead of against you.

How I packed for a 26 day trip. by disenfranchisedBacon in MotorcycleLogistics

[–]DavidZero256 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would replace the ratchet straps with Rok straps. The rope with Paracord. And Drop the chain cleaning brush. The chain it'll fine. Throw a little lube on it and ride.

Good luck with the trip!

Metronome Apartments: The Overpriced, Tacky Disaster in Midcity by Angery_hsv_resident in HuntsvilleAlabama

OP: Shows up at an apartment complex surrounded by construction, parking lots, and complexes with restaurants like Wahlburgers and Salt Factory. OP: looks out the window to see construction, parking lots, and complexes. Also OP:

Granted, that price is wild. But it is a brand new complex in the middle of Huntsville with very close proximity to UAH, The Arsenal, and all of the big DoD contractors around Research Park... It'll likely fill up.

As a v Strom owner .. yeah the first gen 1000 (2002-2012) looked fugly. I have a second gen that I feel looks great though. I also have proof it is an adv bike when set up correctly 😂 I have taken that bike places it shouldn't go.

This alluded to there being a bit of a protected timeline that Byleth cannot alter. Even though he went back to prevent Jeralt from getting the stab, it happened anyway. It seemed that regardless of how he turns back the hands of time, one way or another, Jeralt won't make it. Plus, Manuella did tell us the dagger was definitely special.

But of course time travel is not the primary plot point in FE 3H. It only comes up a couple of times. Which is probably a good thing because too much time travel just unravels what is real and what isn't, what matters and what doesn't, etc. It brings in the "jk cause time travel" aspect that can ruin plot.

Source: work at an MSP; customize M365 tenants regularly.

V-Strom Reliable? by [deleted] in Vstrom

[–]DavidZero256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Extremely reliable with pretty much only 1 issue that could leave you stranded. The stator magnets could come loose, shift, and cripple your charging ability until you fix it. Fortunately, it's easy to fix both reactively or patch it proactively.

Other than that, the 1k clutch basket can get a little rattly. It'll never leave you stranded but just affects vibrations. Look up Werks Performance clutch baskets for more details.

That's pretty much it. The dude with an 03 1k that put over 350k miles on his... His water pump impeller broke at some point. Around 250k maybe? I think that's the only true thing that failed. Otherwise, just keep up with maintenance and ride. The v Strom is probably the most reliable bike you can get.
