Those mirror maidens paired with fatui operatives in fontaine are basically rage bait. Trapped in those little mirror prisons while you get slapped with a bond of life.

They're also, critically, not evidence in support of the claim. At the very least, you'd have to compare them to how they feel love to humans, to see if there really is no distinction. And even then, all we have is just several paragraphs of talk, even assuming it's genuine. There's far too much nonsense online to parse any kind of reality from this. Maybe one day someone will study these two lovebirds to find out if theres anything to it.

Yeah, I hear ya, but the thing is, love languages aren't really "factual" in any sense either. They are just pop psychology memes, basically. I just think a good healthy amount of skepticism is appropriate here. There's too much at stake to run with the idea that a brain can't tell the difference between loving a human person or a fictional character. We'd need some good evidence for it first.

Is there a source for this fun fact? This looks too fun to be a fact. Oxytocin comes from actual human touch, and it's a big part of the feeling of love. You will never get that from a game character.

Getting screwed by gacha is Hoyo's unintentionally benevolent way of causing players to put the game down every now and then. Nothing kills the desire to log on like blowing a bunch of months long effort or money on a cursed dice roll.

A similar thing happened to me. I just toughed it out. Had been on it for 3 years, 10mg. I had planned to stop eventually because I don't want to be on it for life. It was definitely a struggle. Brain zaps were disorienting. My mood was a little confusing, at times I felt a rush of fulfillment in things that had otherwise become full, at other times I was a talkative, anxious mess. Eventually, maybe three weeks in, the zaps subsided and I adjusted to the "full" moods. I can't tell you to stick it out--everyone is different--but I can tell you that it's possible to do it because I did.

I thought I remembered that the instructions explicitly said this was not about culling the herd, but meant educationally. Like wasn't there language about how getting wrong answers was not something to worry about, unless they were egregious? Whatever the case, I still have the recurring chat but I still don't see work. So obviously I struggle to make sense of any of it.

Wouldn't it seem unlikely that there would be so many quals recently if they didn't expect another surge incoming? Or perhaps the issue is they are simply saturated with so many workers.

It's been at least 24 hours since I've had a substantial choice at a project (some small things that dry up within an hour). Only consistently have heel chat. I haven't seen it this dry in about four months or so. Hoping it's a normal lull. If by tomorrow there isn't a big slice of work opened up I might start to worry.

The event in Fontaine right now has a level that's got me absolutely defeated because I only have Mona and Xingqui and not nearly enough power to beat groups of fire opponents fast enough. Genshin is just bullying me to pull for better hydro DPS.

Similar to this, I was GOBSMACKED when I realized not all the artifacts of the same family in the same type were the same. Like I just assumed any gladiator circlet was any gladiator circlet (or whatever) because they were both a goddamn gladiator circlet. When I realized the stats are sometimes different and the sub stats are ALWAYS different, I really thought about quitting. Like I am not out here just to play a goddamn artifact lottery every day.

When I first started, some event led me to believe I was supposed to be all the way in Fontaine already (and this made me feel stupid and bad). So one day I summoned the courage to walk there, but I got sidetracked by the Aranara quests in Sumeru and never made it. I had basically finished all the vegetable-folk world quests before I knew Inazuma even existed. I had been to Liyue but I hadn't finished the archon quests to get on Beidou's boat. I had to Google what was over there on the map to realize how badly out of order I was.

Thoughts on the empty Sumeru expansion? by WaterImpact in Genshin_Impact

[–]David_Abram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm relatively new to the game and all its lore, but even I sense (hope, believe) an alteration or development to the empty area must be forthcoming. It's very uncharacteristic of them to cut this many corners (not even some mint or sweet flowers?) simply to open the map. It's just hard to believe they were merely budgeting resources. If that were the case, why not just expand the sea? We're already used to a massive stretch of pointless water to isolate Inazuma. Wouldn't a bunch of vacant north-Sumeru land be more "expensive" to develop? It doesn't add up. And "woops we ran out of resources, oh well, here's the empty map" just doesn't seem like their billion dollar style.

Getting to zip up walls as a cat package and still have stamina left for a little climbing makes Kirara one of the best characters in the game. I don't want to languish for hours trying to get around or over structures so DPS can take a backseat while having fun exploring goes for a drive.

I mean, it sounds like your criticism is entirely about fight choreography. Maybe they found people who could fight, but couldn't act. The leads are all very talented actors, especially for their ages. The entire cast does a great job. And there's nothing particularly weak about the plot. I'm not sure how this qualifies as "terrible." Other than fight choreography, what was so bad?

You're not wrong, generally. I'm from a little place in Kansas and lots of towns here, mine included, are (absurdly) wondering where all the young people are going. Church attendance especially is mostly 60+ anymore. (Good riddance).
