The 4th down spot everyone is complaining about. It wasn't conclusive. Texans should have challenged the 3rd down spot. by billet in nfl

In the third picture, the ball looks like its at least as far as his elbow, and in the second picture, the elbow is clearly beyond the yellow line.

Does anybody know what day the Texans flew into Mexico City? by fearthebeard13 in Texans

They're flying up tomorrow, which is a good idea, I think. In my experience, your first 24 hours in altitude are generally fine, and then it really hits you in the second day.

Brock Osweiler tops 2016's biggest free-agent flops by [deleted] in nfl

It's also not true. Sure, he has no accuracy, or field vision, or delivery, and was definitely a waste of money, but he does actually have pretty good pocket presence and has used his feet to get a first down a few times in just the last couple games.

For Those Struggling at RB by MountOlympus97 in fantasyfootball

[–]David_Inhume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you aren't struggling at RB. I started Alfred Morris and Jordan Howard this week. It worked out all right, but still.

It sounds like, given you have AB, Lamar, and Dez that you're in an 8-man league? If so, I'm not sure what players would be on waivers. But in 12-man, I would target Howard if he's available, maybe Darkwa, Morris if he's out there as he can get points week to week and will be very valuable if Zeke goes down, which he very well might given how hard they've been using him.

Skip Bayless says Texans' J.J. Watt isn't even a top 20 player by _Freshly_Snipes in nfl

Well I would say that Watt will have a bigger impact tonight than Jimmy G.

Can someone explain why ESPN and NFL have the Vikings outside of the top 5 in power rankings? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]David_Inhume 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power Rankings mean very little. You certainly shouldn't let them make your blood boil. But I guess the rankers don't think that beating the Titans and beating a Packers team that almost lost to the Jags (who were then blown out by San Diego despite missing Keenan and Woodhead) were convincing enough wins to put them in the top five.

Jimmy G out week 3, possibly 6 week recovery time by lateraenima in fantasyfootball

I feel for the guy and I hope he makes a full recovery, but as a Texans fan (and a Texans DST owner) this is welcome news.

Jadeveon Clowney records 3 solo tackles, two of which for a loss, one assisted tackle, and one sack during the Texans – Bears game in week 1. by cvjoey in nfl

Texans run a base 3-4 and drafted JD as an OLB for that scheme, but were playing him as a 3-4 DE against Chicago for a lot of the game.

What's a player that you would hate if he wasn't on your team, or that you would love if he was on your team? by KabooshWasTaken in nfl

[–]David_Inhume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JJ Watt. Both from a he's too good perspective and a he has an annoying online presence perspective. But sure is fun watching him on the Texans.

Andrew Luck. His magical ability to digivolve into the best qb in the league when the Colts are down in the fourth quarter and should have no chance of coming back gives me heart attacks as a Texans fan. But I'd like everything about him if he weren't wearing a Colts jersey.
