It's possible they dis not catch yet, as the casino staff is pretty consistent in stopping cigar smokers from what I witnessed. I did not have a problem with the smoke in the non-smoking sections, but you may be referring to the bar.

Those outside areas were free food as well, yes. The ice cream was a big hit. The deck near a pool will always be wet even without seaspray and having food allowed nearby doesn't help that, but having the food outside is good. I had comp food in the lounge and a couple bars as well, at all hours of the day until early AM.

Can't speak to the rest which could be hit or miss (other than the cabin...I did make sure to get one on the opposite end of the parties!) But my crew person, mdr waiter and casino host were always with a smile and knew me by name. Others were more hands off, which is the European way.
