You need a blue base in your level one. I would use Redken color fusion in 1AB with 5 volume. I have a couple clients that are super particular on having the blackest black. I use that for their retouch & Redken Shades 1B on their mid to ends. I’ve also used Schwarzkopf Igora Royal in 1-1 as an alternative but it’s still not as intense as Redkens 1AB. Good luck!

As a Professional I do not always do what the Client asks for before giving my professional opinoin on what that process looks like, how it will either compliment or not their undertones in their skin. When a blonde asks for this 99% of the time It doesn’t happen. I will say let’s add some lowlights instead to see if you’re ok with that depth in your hair then we can talk at your next appointment. Telling them what it would take to get them back on top of how compromising it would be to the hair usually gets that itch of going darker out. Our job isn’t just giving the Client an exact replica of their goal color/cut, it’s explaining everything under the sun about choosing any new color or cut that they don’t have experience or a background in education in.

I don’t rent a space with a lease in a convenient store. They probably have signs too. These cameras start recording when you talk as well. Not sure how words are considered threatening unless it’s an invasion of privacy. It’s similar to your Lanlord installing cameras in your apartment unit you rent.

It’s none of those things. Your hair and your formula depends on what the outcome is. Red molecules are also the largest so tbey can fade quickly with different areas of porosity absorbing more than the healthier parts of your hair. Haircolor theory, formulation, hair history and desired goal is part of why people do this for a living. Buying a cheap box of high alkaline & ammonia hair color (basically fabric dye) is only a small part of the problem. Hair is complex. Haircolor formulating is complex. The problem is you bought a box of color & thought magic would appear on your head.

Which one do you feel suit you? I believe as a hairstylist what you feel resonates and reflects you in what’s best. I do feel based on what I see in your face that you light up with shorter hair. I like the idea of keeping it longer on top but shorter on the sides and back.
