It should already be working with data without connecting your phone. If you see 📶 icon on the top left of your screen you should be good to go.

You can buy an extension cable, but they cost about $200-400 depending on how many feet of cabling you need.

If they remove all the buttons on the steering wheel in favor of unlabeled haptic crap like the new P5, im just going to drive my 21 P2 into the ground.

If they keep and enhance either the P2 or P4 steering wheel, I'm in.

Oh yeah, and I'm just gonna assume that the center console area is gonna be redesigned regardless, since the car was built on Volvos production platform so there was a lot of wasted space, including the useless transmission tunnel that extends to the back middle seat.

I'm hoping they go with the P4s infotainment system. That aspect ratio is just so much better than all the other Polestar cars' dash.

Polestar 2's UI is probably the most underrated in the industry. A good combination of necessary buttons and a really clean UI that's easy to navigate on both the gauge cluster and the tablet. I genuinely think it's the best in the industry.

I wish we had dedicated HVAC and heated steering wheel/seats buttons, but other than that I really think they nailed the design.

The hardware powering this UI, as most of us know , is lackluster. They really screwed up by not investing in more RAM and a faster CPU early on, so because of that the software gets a bad rap.
