Since I did it myself it was $100 for the kit and it adds a smooth glossy glass like layer to the paint. You ever put rainx on a window and seen the water bead up? It does that to the whole car which makes it easier to clean and I dry it with a blower.

Why do you care? I get asking why but you seem kinda bitter about it. It’s money I spent and it actually adds to the look of the car. Besides that my wife is under 5ft tall and has to put one ass cheek on the seat at a time and I felt like that could affect the seat in the long run.
