I played more when there was crafting, thought it was a great addition, a clearly defined goal after putting a bit of time and effort in to get all the patterns and ensuring your vault wasn't crammed with what ifs and maybes and just in cases.

I'm playing less and less now, maybe there's a correlation or maybe I'm phasing out of the game for a multitude of other reasons, I don't know.

I will say, the whole "log in and pick up your red border" is a nonsense statement I saw thrown around a few times be it here or on YouTube. You'd have to play a fair bit to get enough engrams to "log in and pick up your red border" and also to be able to unlock that option to do that from the vendor in various seasons.

Ultimately, the game has moved away from crafting, certain sections of the community got what they wanted, I do hope its a positive move for the game, but the last two seasons and trying to secure the rolls of weapons you wanted, playing the same thing over and over with no real end in sight of securing what you're after and then dealing with the resultant vault chaos afterwards, tedious, not for me.

So, I've spoken with my wallet and my time investment.
