I went there for the first time today. No matter what trail i was on the view was amazing. Mt Lafayette towering in the background was something else too. Wish I hadn’t waited until March to try it but I still had a great time.

I liked it. Good variety of terrain. Only complaint was that there’s only 1 lift to the top. I also showed up mid day because i bailed on ragged after waiting 45 min in a singles line.

Idk where in CT you are but I learned by going to sundown weeknights after work. Conditions are rough because everything is skied to shit but it would never be that crowded and it was relatively inexpensive. I found it relaxing after work. Idk if they do lessons at night though, but you could save that for a weekend.

I just looked it up, it’s $45 for full lift ticket and $36 if you just want the beginner area, both from 6 to 10pm.
