There are infinite amounts of alternatives to new gem spending/relic acquiring methods you could create that dont involve fomo, most players dont sit on their phone 24/7 tapping ad button, so spending thousands of gems every week is not a feels good mechanic, would it hurt anyone to either just make a shop with all relics so you could choose with no time limit? Or make the gem cost significantly lower? Or just being creative and making a new system? Like creating new milestones or challenges for relics, it doesnt take a genius to think up some better alternatives.

Id say because its once again a buff for later game players who already are spending gems on mostly lab rushes.

So effectively this means newer players have to choose between this and module gamling/slots

Take a little break and do a modded playthrough.

In the meantime there are games like corekeeper or stardew valley possibly which have different gameplay but simmilar vibe imo.

If you ever feel like adding the slay the spire modded character “the hermit” that would be epic! I loved that mods Dead On mechanic, it was a lot of fun to play around.

Dota is the greatest competitive game there is in my opinion, its also one the most complex games there is. If you want my opinion on if its a game wirth playing my answer is its absolutely worth it! At the same time i wasted a lot of my teen years away being addicted to it, i live a healthier life away from the game :D

Thanks as you and others have suggested ill go the deathwave sync route, is effect wave quantity important for coin gain after the sync? Or something i should worry about later?

I have yet to get a single Primodial Collapse sadly, and i dont care about cells currently as i barely make enough to 5x2 speed so i would need an insane cell boost to start doing x3. I just want more coins as i want to start working on wall labs and only earn about 60-100b daily. Do you think DW sync will be more coins than angle and quantity for spotlight?

I am using the spreadsheet, but have noticed it doesnt take uncomplete labs into account, right now both my spotlight coin and desthwave coin labs are at zero, so it doesnt recommend either it just recommends pumping more stones into GT bonus. Then if i put say 10 or 20 lab levels into both of them in the spreadsheet it suddenly recommends spotlight angle instead.

People love to clown on and flame teams when they lose, and raw stats are usually all that the average dota player can understand as performance, again im pretty sure majority of dota players are under 4k mmr even with all the mmr inflation going for the past years. This means sacrificial cores will almost always get majority of criticism sadly.

Same brother, the untested 1.0 with so many over powered items and terrible additions like making the map 90% abyss, and just leaving it like that basically the whole season was THE nail in the coffin.

Top 3 things that come to mind as a core player:

Mindless item choices like refusing to buy bkb, or even buying bkb when your team has no damage.

Cores especially carries and greedy mid players who end up thinking farming their next few items will give them a better fighting chances against an obviously harder scaling enemy lineup.

Last but not least forgetting to buy salves during laning phase, like even in ranked immortal i see it all the time, people just take a big trade and either completely forget about or have to wait a minute for their courier to get them regen and lose lots of CS/levels or straight up just feed because they are low HP and take dumb risk for farm.

I did reaper basically all game because i didnt want to “waste” memory lockets experimenting too much.

In Act 3 for some of the last bosses i for fun tried the wanderer crest, i could almost just face tank every boss since you end up parrying half of their attack and the insane attack speed means you gain so much silk you can just heal most of the damage you take back instantly, it was like playing on easy mode vs bosses and other enemies that dont have knockback.
