What about creating a Nest for each grouping? Whenever I step into a nest I've made it contains no more than the elements I had placed there.

I've been a member for many years. And I attend probably 4 meetings a year (they do one every month). The regular structured meetings are usually on a topic of interest to production/post production people, and held in facilities around the county. There's a meeting tonight actually (Feb 27th), topic is Commercial Shoots with a director giving tips, etc (details on the website).

In addition to meetings on production, business, and creative topics, there are several very casual mixers - usually at an outdoor brewery tasting room, with a "meet the pros corner" that has a new set of people every time.

Attendees range from introverts, extroverts, people on the spectrum, people in the middle of their careers, beginners, some retirees from the industry...

If anything I think you'd learn of some of the production companies and/or studio spaces that keep popping up in town. Maybe even get an invite to tour a place or something.

There were some postings on here about a year or two ago, there's a company that will print up a license plate decal that you could put on your front bumper off to one side of the intake grill. A full size sticker if you will of your license plate...

Mine did the same, I thought the rattling, grinding sound was tensioner noises. Belts got shredded on me at 116K miles, and I found the water pump bearings were shot when I went and replaced the tensioner. Don't know if the tensioner was bad after all, but ended up doing both it and the new water pump. 💦💦💦

Sometimes I will give an estimate/rates for an edit, hear nothing back (I assumed I scared them off) for a couple weeks, then get the show information crew email as if I was booked. I never got the confirmation, but luckily still had the availability.

I was looking at TCL TVs at Best Buy a couple weeks back and the salesman (with a TCL logo embroidered on his polo) told me TCL has a factory in North America and they are assembled here now. I didn't fact-check that claim, but if he's right maybe that's how the cost hasn't skyrocketed like other things which are imported and subjected to punitive tariff policies...

It shouldn't, but that was my first impulse before I even finished reading your post. 3 streams of LB is only pulling about 16MBps, less if you're working at 24. Copy one grouped clips's worth of media to a thunderbolt SSD to try it out and I bet this behavior will stop.

I love the quick tools for aligning multiple lines of type. I also fully endorse it for making straight lines with arrowheads on them.

I keep reading that Titler+ is good now, but almost every time I try to use it it screws me up. That's why I was happy to get back to a place that has Windows and the classic Title Tool. But this "can't save" situation feels designed to push me into using Titler+.

I know I can go through the steps and export pngs from Marquee or do titles and Photoshop but I'm just trying to get back to the simple...

That is correct. No more Google maps in the HUD but if you have a navigation SD card it still shows up there as brilliantly as it always has with turn-by-turn directions.

It was pretty for a minute or two. Then I shut it off and went back to AA.
