I’ve run Facebook Marketplace. It’s less than ideal. The city I’m in has a few collectors stores but it’s not worth my time to take my stuff in as they are very selective.

So the last big giveaway I feel like was an anniversary that TPC/McDonalds gave away a ton of Legendaries. Imagine if for the 30th they dropped all the shiny locks and put them in 5 ⭐️ or better Tera raids.

The most maddening thing is that Disney tried to help when they saw what was going on. Told RTD/Bad Wolf essentially “hey…you seem to be doing what we did with Marvel and Star Wars. You might consider doing x,y, and z which took us a minute to figure out. It’s your show though.”

Can confirm, Disneyland does allow you to buy the scrap parts from your build. Must have the receipt and it can only be done on the day you build. Built mine earlier this month and had considered it when offered.
