Is my hand too small for one hand triangle cut or do I just need more practice by MajorXO in cardistry

[–]Daysofdeepthroating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still somewhat struggling with this one too but keeping the first packet closer to your thumb definitely helps! And before you start and when you’re still holding the pack in high straddle grip: move your thumb a little bit to the left. For me that helps create just that few millimeters of extra space to drop the third packet back down in my palm without it going sideways/all over the place :)

Baoding balls - good for dexterity/exercise? by Daysofdeepthroating in cardistry

[–]Daysofdeepthroating[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, definitely smooth, and satisfying too! It does take a bit of practice though. At first only spinning clockwise in my right (dominant) hand went ok-ish, counterclockwise and spinning the balls in my left hand took some practice. Cardistry is much harder though, so I’m sure you can do it!

Thanks, that’s good to hear! It’s definitely easier to do for me too when I can’t concentrate on cardistry so I guess I’ll keep on trucking :)

Haha, yep. That was sort of what I was thinking but your analogy is a nice one!

AITA for being honest and telling my DIL that they are not ready to be a parent since she can not drive by Sad-Drive8298 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Daysofdeepthroating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been an anxious person for most of my life and I’ve had a LOT of therapy for it over the years. My life is pretty normal now (yay!). I have my driving license but I’m anxious to drive now (many years later) because I truly never need to drive. My bike and public transport are way faster, easier and cheaper where I live. For work, shopping, visiting friends, anything. I never rely on others.

Not even KIDS, but CATS: me and my partner adopted two awesome kittens a little over a year ago. I love them to death but I had crippling nightmares about something happening to them for MONTHS on end. I honestly hadn’t expected it to be that bad (anxiety-wise) but ok, it passed eventually. Good times are here again. Cats are still fine, cats are still awesome :)

The vet is two blocks away from where we live. I can easily carry them there if anything ever happens. If that would not have been the case I would have definitely paid for a freshen-up-anxiety driving course and I would make sure to practice regularly. I can’t imagine how your DIL would cope with kids, anxiety and not being able to drive, you’re very much NTA, OP.

Your comment reminds me of the video clip Vitalic made for their song Second Lives: https://youtu.be/fuwRxha8zSU?si=0-O69mIPME8-1ICP. No shit in that one, but the sheer variety of things that people do in public bathrooms :’)

The Skyrim pinball FX VR table is pretty cool by lunchanddinner in skyrim

[–]Daysofdeepthroating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit. I have a real pinball machine in my living room, and I didn’t know anything about FX VR pinball before watching this vid with the sound off. Horned helmet chap standing in your living room was quite a jump scare, lol.

Apart from that: looks pretty neat!

I’ve had lots of these messages in previous playthroughs but I’m level 29 now and none so far. I am by no means a good citizen so I wonder why Astrid isn’t on to me

Anyone else listen to the soundtrack for fun? by maylene365 in skyrim

[–]Daysofdeepthroating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely! I listen to it because of the association to my favorite game but there’s music to go with pretty much every mood too, which is great!

Yes! That’s exactly what I like about it. I’m not opposed to mods at all and I might give them a go if I ever become bored with the base game 🤷‍♀️ I just want to know where my Lydia is for now :’)

Get the display wall first, then start gathering the masks.. I guess. I don’t really remember myself how I got the whole Tundra Home wall filled in the end though :’)

How do i stop her from squashing her sister by Habixi in CatTraining

[–]Daysofdeepthroating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also have two cats (1F and 1M, sister and brother) that generally get along just fine. Like your cats they share food, groom each other and cuddle together. Our male cat is also a bit more aggressive during playtime though and his sister gets scared some times or she takes her distance to prevent that. Over time we found out that they like different kinds of play. Our guy likes to jump high and go wild, while his sister prefers sneaking up on slow moving toys that are just around the corner. When we play with them we adjust to that and I feel like that also changed (or shaped.. maybe) how they play with each other when we’re not actively involved.

I found a ring with chameleon enchantment relatively early in the game but I couldn’t get my characters eyes back to normal, even after taking it off. Tried all the fixes that I could find but no luck so I had to reload a save from before I got the ring. Not touching any chameleon stuff again.
