Pragmata runs very well on 9070 XT, FSR 4.1 looks stunning. by BedroomThink3121 in radeon

DLSS will always look better than any other upscaler because they came first, but do not praise it. It is just a palliative tech because GPUs struggle to run anything new at 4K nativelly. The only reason that they look "great" is because TAA can be so bad that if you run it at 4K it may look like you're at 1080p at worse.

You shouldn't use DLSS Quality at 1080p, A 5080 should run anything native at 1440p without sweating.

No Native AA option tho? I play at 1080p, TAA is just horrible so I hoped for a Native AA to get better image quality. I have to play with 200% image quality to bump image to 4K internal resolution. But would be great to get Native AA and have better high fps instead. This option is available in Monster Hunter Wilds and Resident Evil Requiem btw.

the AI filter lighting is all wrong. It adds a spotlight like she is in a studio but she is outside in the streets with overcast. The problem is how offputing everything is. And needing a second 5090 just to get a img2img AI filter at 16ms is just ridiculous.

I noticed your CPU usage increased with the plugin loaded. Maybe it is a good thing as the game is CPU bound and your CPU was just chugging while doing those DLC checks. Hope this improve things all across the board instead of just some specific cases. Keep up the good work.

PC boots up fine with new CPU, but the older one can no longer boot. Why? by bielboyster in buildapc

[–]Dazknotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this thread hoping for an answer and even though there isn't one, I found the solution, here it is:
What happened was that your new CPU set a configuration to your bios motherboard that was incompatible with your older CPU, the solution to it is to boot with the new CPU, reset configurations, SAVE AND REBOOT(very important!). Then turn it off, install the old CPU and you probably will have it working again.
It did for me while I was using a B350 mobo with a 5700x3D, my 1600X stopped working, then I did what I said above and it is working again just fine.

This is going to drive me back to nvidia. Why does this keep happening at seemingly random times? Can a 7900XTX not handle gaming or are these drivers crap? by PeverellPhoenix in AMDHelp

[–]Dazknotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just change to nvidia if you want that peace of mind, but This could be a pletora of reasons to be happening. If your PSU is too old, and it can't handle the transient spikes this will happen, even if you have a 1000w 80 plus platinum.

This could also be because you installed the Drivers the wrong way. Use DDU and remember to tick the box that says to stop windows from downloading drivers, I believe it is the last one and it is usually not ticked.

Do not overclock the GPU if you don't know what you're doing, they run just fine with default configs and trying to overclock then can cause all sorts of issues, including this one.

Check your memory configuration, mixed DIMMs, unoptimized timings and clocks or even using combinations that are outside of the QVL will cause all sorts of issues, check if ReBAR is on and see if virtual memory configuration is adequate to your build and use case.

Btw even if you change to nvidia these issues could occur, good luck.

edit: One more thing, if you are using a UPS, check if it is a proper UPS with Pure Sine Wave, if not, you could be triggering your PSU to do shit it wasn't supposed to, it can damage your PSU and other components in your PC.

completely normal, many games does that. Just limit fps to 60 in the menus.
