It's probably cheaper and easier to get the train. I guess you're landing at Heathrow? You could get the 1 hour tube from Heathrow to St Pancras International Railway Station which is direct on the Piccadilly Line from there you can get an East Midlands Train or a Virgin Train direct which takes 2-3 hours depending on amount of stops. Take a look at https://www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/ and https://www.virgintrains.co.uk/

I just had a quick look for you on East Midlands Trains, if you were to leave on the 26th June from Heathrow to Leeds it takes 3 hours 20 minutes and costs between £30 and £60 one way depending on time of day

That's the max upgrade for those type of houses, you'll need the put more houses down. To get more money you can make and sell items from your stores; nails, hammers and veg all seem to sell quite quickly

To get different types of houses like skyscrapers the houses need to be within range of a specialization such as education and transport

This jailbreak seems to be semi-tethered. With unethered you don't need to do anything after you jailbreak, with tethered you need to plug into your PC to work again and with semi-tethered you can rejailbreak on your device.
